It's awful lol. Well it's a sponge, it takes in the flavours you cook it with, but on its own, it tastes like wet cardboard. At least the one I had... 😞
Seeing the soy milk being bottled like this made me really crave a serving of soy milk RN! Such a pitty in my country (Brazil) only versions available at the market are sweetened (and awful tbh) and have xantam gum added. I love it when I make my own, but the mess the kitchen turns is a whole another level XD Thank you for sharing this lovely recordings!

I have to ask what dose stinky tofu taste like? I hear about it a lot but never got the idea of what it taste like sour/savory/sweet that kind of stuff.
As an Englishman I applaud the historic innovation to create tofu. Necessity & evolution I imagine? Often the case with food. I will research process, see if they took guidance from cheese making in the past to get to this point.
