Nadal's acievements out of clay are not even close to Federer and Djokovic that's where the "claydal" comes from. See what you wrote.. When I saw the men's final it was an unreal match. He needs to make less unforced errors. There were so many times he either put the ball in the net or it went wide. He seemed quite careless at times. He needs to be more accurate and careful. When you actually looked at the match he had more winning shots than Novak. He seems to be better when he comes from behind and not in front. He seems to let it slip away I think this is how he lost the Wimbledon final 😥 . Come on Roger we love you.

The 2009 final loss to Del Potro kick started a bad run for him. Interestingly, he said in an interview that was the final he most regretted losing and thought he should have won. Since then he's only managed to make one appearance in the final. It's hard to believe he won the French Open more recently than the U.S Open and I doubt that will ever change now. He had his chance in 2017 when Djokovic, Murray, Wawrinka and other top players were out, in addition to coming off the back of a near perfect grass court season. If not for the bad timing of that back injury, I think he would have won it that year.

I have no worries that Fed can beat Nadal because he's beaten him everytime on hard court since 2017. The real worry is Novak. I think for Fed to win he has to hope Novak loses before they meet. Fed hasn't beaten Novak since 2016 or earlier. Fed's proven he can beat Nadal but not Novak.

I totally agree. In fact, on hard and grass both Fed and Djokovic have got the better of Nadal in recent years . Unfortunately Fed has Djokovic in his half. Medvedev has the best chance of stopping Djokovic before the semis but I doubt that will happen.

I will never read comments again. Some people are fanatics. And put down Novaks and Rafas achievements in Rogers favour. According to them Roger should have like 40 GS titles and it is not fair. And if Novak and Rafa were 38 they would never do this or do that. And if grandma had a Dick she would be a grandpa

federer fans are fanatics? look at your djokotards and rafatards, continually disrespecting federer and calling his weak era champ, loser, etc, relentlessly putting him down. i mean, appreciate what he has done for the sport.
