J'ai connu Martinique par étudiant le français. Et j'ai connu aussi l'histoire d'île quand j'ai lu un livre qui parle du sucre. Ces musiques d'origine de Martinique, ça m'attire.

These are the sonic experiences which inspired me to discover the musicality and culture of les Antilles for myself! Je vous remercie pour ces compositions immersives et hautes en couleur. C'était juste fantastique pouvoir voir les personnes, les visages, et les environnements musicaux derrière les enregistrements que j'écoutais depuis des années. Now I feel nostalgia for the beautiful people and places that I left behind. With much appreciation from the US :)
