I'm 48 and still to this day my sister and I talk about how our dad drove us home to our mom's house in reverse..well over a mile 😂
Why though? Just stated the pod so don’t know what they’re talking about. Knew a guy growing up who had cerebral palsy badly and he would sometimes jump in a car and drive it in reverse because it was more comfortable to look out the back window.

Taste buds basically doing 30min episodes with 10mins of ads. Not worth the boys time
@spiralbones I imagine they'll eventually work back up to normal episode length and energy. They've been extremely tame and shortened since Sal's mental breakdowns a few months ago.
The ads definitely don't help when they're effectively 20% or more of an episode, but it feels like they're slowly getting back to where they were-- even if they'll never be as explosive and confrontational again , I can see guests joining eventually
The best part about Sal is that now he’s going to find a nice sweater and get Kevin an XL.

1 time when I was like 14 or 15 I accidentally hit the gas hard instead of the brake while trying to back up in my parent's driveway. I panicked and froze as the car flew through the wrought iron gate, through the street, and into a concrete ditch in front of the neighbor's house. I must've hit at least 20 MPH. I was lucky the car & I were both okay after. Thanks for unlocking that memory, totally forgot about it 😂😂

My dad’s side of the family is from Appalachian Mointains and my grandmother told me she had a wart on her hand, and a friend told her she had to steal a piece of clothing off her neighbors clothesline, and bury it in her yard so it would go away. She said it worked lol. I believe her.
My descendants are Irish but way back. Little things like never cut your babies nails, bite them off or they will be pick pockets 😂 No shoes on the table ever & never buy your man a pair, he will walk away from you. Cats were a big no no in the yard too.

So funny my family use to bury the statues too and my mother use to tape all the Christmas cards around a door frame and rehang them every year! This podcast showed me i grew up Chicago trash!! 🤣🤣
