    You have really inspired me over the years, even though I use FL Studio, it's because of you I have started thinking more outside of the box. And I appreciate your contribution to electronic music man.

    Hi Mr. Bill, I just want to say both you and Slynk are my guru's for Sound design and pretty much everything in Ableton. You're are both teaching me so many tips and techniques which I can't thank you enough for! You are an absolute genius and I have my mind set on becoming the same! Wish me luck. Haha!

    Do you play the same set every show or switch up your ableton arrangement?

    • @MrBillsTunes
      @MrBillsTunes  7 років тому +8

      I can switch it between the chunks (eg. one night I might play it in the order of 1-2-3-4-5-6, then the next night I might play it in the order of 6-4-5-3-1-2) but that's about all the arrangement freedom I have doing things this way. Please argue with me if you think this lacks integrity, because I like to be challenged on this particular topic & I'd like to try and improve my set more and more based on not only my ideals, but other people in the electronic music scenes ideals also.

      meh, to each their own, self cheerleaders still make an impression, eg the prodigy is 1 synth guy and 2 cheerleaders. just find something to do on stage that makes the show interesting

    What is a VIP in ableton? Is it another project within a master project?

    • @LT-Seeks
      @LT-Seeks 6 років тому

      Version in Progress

    • @Vwlpe
      @Vwlpe 5 років тому +2

      VIP in music production means Variation in Production. Basically means taking a track you've done and giving it a different twist, whether it's different elements, instruments, bpm, etc. A version in progress is commonly referred to as a WIP (work in progress).

    whats that first track 3:35

    • @vocksimity
      @vocksimity 4 роки тому

      If you're talking about the track at exactly that timestamp, that's his tune Klaf (with Clockvice).

    If you could figure out a way to improvise gradually more and more, and gradually get more musicians to join, this could be epic. Just having the raw material from the produced songs and jamming around that. I have no idea how it would work right now, but wouldn't it be cool if every playing of a track was different? I, as a former metal guitarist, at least think jamming is way more fun than just playing through a sequence.

      More musicians? Then you've gotta pay them - wait for them to turn up to rehearsal - and you better pay them to do that so as they do actually turn up, and then you've gotta hope they don't murder the music because they've got some personality disorder that requires them to 'self-medicate'. Then after all that you've gotta hope they like each other.

    Nothing good coming out of the 70's you say. I was born in 77 so will have to disagree :) Nice session though. Interesting way to build a live set.
