All i can say about this scene(with the Orchestra's version of The Righteous Brother's "Unchained Melody" playing in the background) when Patrick Swayze's character Sam's soul finally goes to Heaven! after he completed his UNFINISHED BUSINESS on earth; just sets that moment/scene up perfectly(still brings a tear to my eye).I might not have liked most of his movies but he WAS(& will always) be remembered as one....RESPECT...Gone too soon
Watched this movie for the first time by myself and glad I did. I bawled like a baby during this scene. When Molly heard and responded to Sam, I thought she got killed and they would be together. When I realized she didn't and it was time for Sam to go, the tears came and there was no stopping them.
It's a very rare gift to get to say goodbye to a loved one as they pass. Sadly that was never my path, I accept it though because my gifts were for a different purpose and even though it would have been awesome to see my family off, I know the gifts I've been given serve an important purpose and I'm grateful.
