    Triple Haitch doing the home invasion on Randy Boreton was awesome and probably the only memorable thing Hunter had done sine the Attitude era. Then they had the Wrestlemania match and put everybody to sleep.

    Conrad keeps bringing up "what if someone gets hurt Sat night at Mania" looks like he got the same script copy I read where Cody gets hurt and Rock stops the beatdown from going too far, and we end up with Rock vs Roman on night 2

    • @Rschr101

      @Rschr101 7 місяців тому +1

      @@DGFJR123 True, i could see a fake injury going down. But I think best way to protect Cody without burying Roman is to have Cody win the tag match and have Rock cost him the title the next night. RIP Test. Not that he didnt have his demons, but Test was also a victim of HHH's politics. Hunter shot down Test being a member of DX in his debut. Hunter also nixed a feud with Test over Stephanie...JR saying Test could have been a bigger star.. yea JR, had it not been for Triple H. Hunter was always threatened by the younger, more athletic talent. Im sure Test terrified him. Dont underestimate HHHs ego. Crushed alot of careers, and lives.

      Agreed, thought he did great, and so did everyone else since wrestled next nite and month too.. When he read daves review it shows why star ratings dont work in wrestling. You're saying if a crowd loves it, fans happy, reactions across board, well it loses a star cause move a and b were missed, etc. Its way too objective an artform to rate like that, its about the story told, All for saying his opinion why liked/disliked a match, just too much personal bias in reviews that he doesnt acknowledge . He didnt even consider rock-hulk a 5 star match, even Cornette said its a 5 star match and the definition of the art of wrestling on the ride it took you on.

    When discussing Austin doing a match and Steve being particular, wouldnt the obvious question be, then and for Conrad to ask if said, Steve, who would you want to work with? If need to build up for next Mania, then do that, but idk, seems like Jim doesnt wanna say, Steve would refuse period, no matter what. I can believe Austin would be specific and want it done right, still find it hard to believe Vince wouldnt accommodate getting Austin in another match with anyone he chose or how wish it to be laid out. Unless Austin demanded the main event the way Jim was dancing around hes not just another guy on the card. Idk, just hate the non specifc answers always given, lets talk vague and around the bush, hint a bit, then get mad at people who read into my non answers.

And he was in contact with college coaches because of the potential for WWE talent. Did you not hear how he found John Cena? A lot of people in WWE have a sports background. Including football. How a person interacted and behaved in sports and locker room environment was usually a good indicator of how they would be as a talent. Thats why Jim talks about it so much.
