Oil leak fix. BMW 1 series E87 oil filter gasket replace.

this video show how to eliminate oil leak from bmw 1 series E87 oil filter gasket. the gasket is quite easy to replace as only 1 at bottom and another one at side.

Hi when i was lifting oil filter housing the bottom coolant hose snapped from the connector. I have been looking for this part cant find it can i just buy the connector or have to buy the complete hose?
what is it called any information?

Does this oil licking make smoke blue

hi, it leak may drop to exhaust will cause smell of oil burn. it should not causing blue smoke. thanks for watching

And what if gasket still leaks oil even after this replacement?

some people will apply rtv gasket sealant but not recommended as bmw is builded for dry selant by only the gasket. try buy a gasket from good brand and reapply it.

@@diysignal3107 i used silicone sealant but it helped nothing so i guess i will replace whole gasket, thank you wery much
