I have been preaching and teaching Bible for over 50 years. In 1957, I began studying the scriptures diligently after graduating from high school. In 1980, God began dealing with me, bringing me to what I believed was my deathbed in 1985.
In the hospital, I awoke near death crying out to God, "Lord, You are going to kill me if I don't quit living for myself and saying all the truth in my power!!!"
Thereafter, I began to say these blunt plain words that appeal to the elect sheep. As a result, I began to make more enemies than I could have ever imagined. I was sick and tired of the “mush” gospel that churches were preaching.
My family was confused, and on many occasions on the way home from church, my wife would say, "he said such-and-such last week and he said this-and-that this week contradicting what he said the previous week." I began to say to my wife Mary, "don't listen to the preacher, because he doesn't know what he’s talking about." Finally, I said, "this is a waste of time! We are going home. We are not going to these churches anymore. I will teach you from our home."
Nearly thirty years ago, we started Grace and Truth Ministries which included my wife, son and one other young man. We started taping the sermons shortly thereafter. God Has Chosen
Romans 8:29-30 - "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
Foreknow - to have a personal intimate relationship beforehand.
God predetermined that all who belonged to him before the foundation of the world were to "conform" to the word of God in obedience to Christ.
All that were predestined were "called", "justified", and "glorified" (past tense verbs). These were fixed in the mind of God before the world began. (Ephesians 1:4; Acts 13:48; II Thessalonians 2:13). The election of the saints is unto accountability (I Peter 1:2).
The majority of the protestant church held to this doctrine during the reformation. It is the foundation of "The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689". You Baptists are supposed to be believing it and you've discarded this precious doctrine of Grace !!!

Thank you for this teaching I'm listening for hours a day along with the bible but I can see the Holy spirit so well in Jim it's allways a pleasure thank God and Jesus for such mercy on us worthless sinners.

This is predestined for me to hear today! Been trying to understand why my family is acting the way they do? why am I always the scape goat? I knew God's word, but it really seems to not transform me, inside and accept who thses people are. My son has denied GOD'S existence, when I asked him if he believed he is a siiner? he said, " that is the problem" He was raised in the WORD Of GOD, born again, goes to church every sunday and wednesday. all was vanity. went to college and said out loud, that he is not sure GOD exists. I guess he was never THE LORD'S. but it is being difficult for me to sit down and have a meal with him without telling him that he ls sinning against the LORD. He looks at me, like I am creazy, he thinks I am depressed because I always am in the WORD of GOD.

Hello everyone at the ministry......... My question to Jim is this ..... you spoke about having an inner man and outer man and over time this inner man will grow and the outer man will shrink, and this will allow you to walk in Christ or be of the elect who walks in Christ. And you mentioned that salvation is a whole package including all of God's commandments.
So if that is true and God choose you to walk in Christ can you tell me then why Christ said to the thieve hanging beside him that he would be in paradise with him.
It's obvious this thieve didn't walk in Christ or even have time to do the commandments of God .......but he will be in Heaven with Christ.
Could it be that famous words Christ said throughout the New Testament .....just Believe in me and you will have everlasting life.

noticed that jim missed the 2nd part of this, but he has commented on that question before.. God can certainly elect to salvation at any time of His choosing, and we believe that if that thief had gone on past that time that he would have served Christ his remaining days ... certainly, belief/faith is the method of salvation; but, it is granted by a merciful Father, not by some freewill choice of ours to begin believing, since we are dead in our sins and cannot come to God without the new birth (see Eph. 2:1-8, 1 Cor 2:14)
Everybody has works. The Bible relates many people that have magnificent works people did in Jesus' Name that were not even saved. The works some of these people did most any modern day Christian might envy. Jesus declared @ the great white throne"I never knew you." Matt 7:21-23 I mean their faith in the name of Jesus was working wonders for them. The obvious point of these verses is that WORKS (even done by faith in the name that works) DONT SAVE the WORKER no matter how difficult, supernatural, magnificent, useful, benevolent or beneficial they are even with a magnificent working faith in the power of the Name obviously & paradoxically somehow without faith in the Savior. Yet there are Bible heroes & disciples & apostles that did these very same sort of works whom Jesus obviously knows loves & are saved. Matthew 16:17 Acts 3:6 Hebrews 11 Yet everybody has works & most people saved & lost have many good works that are beneficial to fellow man. Even the worst villains have works that are good for something or someone. Matt 5:46 Luke 6:32 It also is obvious that Paul rebuked Christians he called Saints that had terrible works that were worse than unbelievers. 1 Timothy 5:8 1 Cor 5:5 (Much of 1 Corinthians) There is the possibility that Jesus will find no good work any different than an unbeliever might do & all the believer will escape with is his own soul. 1 Cor 3:15 I do not see where a believer NEEDS to earn a crown or to get one to get admittance to Heaven for It is written.Revelation 3:11 which was written to believers. Obviously a believer can lose their crown their rewards & never gain the right or reach the maturity to access their escrow or inheritance. Colosians 3:24 As one might enter the Kingdom while owning none of it like a homeless person in this world. Everybody in this whole world has works. I would even venture to say that the majority of people I know have better works than mine & live better lives. Getting into Heaven is the work of Jesus Christ alone whether or not my faith results in any good works that Jesus might count as good for something. I hope to get something from Jesus for works done in this life but why would any one NEED to have gotten something to enter heaven or someone declare that it is a NECESSARY RESULT of being saved to have works that earned us something that 1 Cor 3:15 obviously disproves. Then there are people with deathbed conversions that cant do any work Luke 23:42 & had no time for God to do anything in or through them. Therefore I believe that the majority of God's work within those of us who have believed MUST happen immediately after we die or Jesus appears Luke 23:42. Obviously if you are not yet a corpse you are doing some kind of work or other that may become beneficial or harmful to your fellow man or fellow believer. it is the story of the adornment. When we are saved we are issued a standard uniform of righteousness. IN Matthew 22:11-15 The kings when they invited people to a wedding would issue a standard wedding garment they expected you to wear to the affair. You did not weave your own or just wear what you wanted. Our works are to ADORN the salvation not to substitute for it. Titus 2:10 The issue will be not whether we had good works or not but where in our thinking processes we are presenting them? Are we presenting them to God in our beliefs & convictions as something that gets us saved or helps save us or helps keep us saved or are we presenting them as something we do in addition to our already perfect standard salvation garment given to us when we believed as an adornment to what Jesus did to save us & keep us? The example given is that a beautiful diamond ring is wonderful adornment on the finger of a well dressed woman but it is a terrible pain to wear it in her shoe. Our works follow us to heaven but they do not pave the way. Revelation 14:13 It would be most inappropriate for a naked woman to wear a diamond ring believing that clothes her (except possibly to a nudist camp).. We do not want to be defending our works at the great white throne judgment for after the lamb's book of life Is opened & it is shown that the person had never believed the book of works is opened & that unbeliever is then judged on the basis of their works then tossed into the lake of fire after it is determined that their works do not match that of the Son of God. Revelation 20:15 The Great white throne is analogous to Heaven's criminal court. The crime is the crime of never having believed in Jesus Christ for salvation. IN any criminal court you can have the greatest works in the world. You could have saved mens lives. You could have waxed might in battle. You could have lived morally. You could have invented world changing inventions. You could have had many good works & all kinds of heroic medals but if you are convicted of the crime you go to Jail or are executed for capitol crimes. (At least it should be that way in a just society but them days are gone). In a civil court you pay damages but you do not go to jail. You can lose your belongings & your fortunes but you like OJ Simpson in Ronald Goldman & Nicole Brown do not go to jail. ( He did another crime later that got him in jail.) This is analogous to a believer suffering loss of everything but his soul. A working faith is evidence that a believer has an active faith resulting in a spiritual life but is not necessarily evidence of salvation. Matt 7:21-23 There really is no evidence of salvation because salvation is a one time event but there is an evidence the believer is filled with & controlled by the Spirit. James 2:17,20,26 However there do exist dead works. Heb 6:1 & a believer often does them & an unbeliever cant but do them.. How about the work Abraham did by what the scripture called him justified James 2:21? That work did not save his soul. romans 4:2 it rather earned him a title "Friend of God". Yet if we were to try to do this act today well If I were a police officer & saw you about to plunge a knife into your child I might be forced to shoot & kill you. Or at the least it could get you locked up in jail for attempted homicide. Yet today they do this sort of mock human sacrifice all the time in certain occult masonic secret societies.
