- Make a Magic Ring
- Make 14 DC into the magic ring
- pull the yarn tail
- Slip stitch into the 1st DC
ROUND 2
- Chain 2
- Make 2 DC into each stitch around
- Slip stitch
ROUND 3
- Chain 2
- Make 1,2,1,2 DC into each stitch around
- Slip stitch
ROUND 4
ROW 1
- Chain 2
- Make 1 DC into each stitch around
- Slip stitch
ROW 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20
- Chain 2
- Make 1 Dc into the Front Post
- Make 1 Dc into the second stitch
( Repeat the process around )
- FPDC, DC, FPDC, DC
- Slip stitch into the first DC

it's the hardest part of every crochet project for me, but once you get it it gets easier every time! there are plenty of youtube tutorials with different methods of making it

I recommend learning the magic circle method from TL Yarn Crafts here on UA-cam. I'll write it out in case that's easier to learn :)
Take the tail end of your yarn and place it in your palm. On your index finger, wrap the yarn 2 times around. Take the first loop and place it over the second. Take the loop that is on the left now and pull it over the edge of your finger. Take the tail and pull to tighten. It should look like a slip knot, but the tail end will now be in control of how big or small your circle is. Turn the circle upside down so that the knot is on top. Pull a loop through and you're ready!
