- Milk cotton yarn, size 4 ply, 150g
- 4.5 mm & 3.5 mm hook
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
- Darning needle

- SC = Single Crochet
- DC = Double Crochet
- Inc = Increase
- Dec = Decrease
- Sl St = Slip Stitch
- MR = Magic Ring
- St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches

You could be crocheting into the slip stitch. When I crochet in the round, I use 1 colored marker to mark my 1st stitch, and a different colored marker to mark the slip stitch.
