    Some years back I saw one of those by the road near Orillia, Ont.
    I didn't realize how it was done until we stopped there and the guy told us that it was done with a chain saw. Incredible! This one is even smaller. Crude tool - fine product. Wonderfull!!!!

    Lol thought so. The work is incredible though. I am trying to learn carving tree spirits with carving knives and power tools on bass wood blocks now.

    This is what I call a human CNC Mill, lol. If a CNC Mill could cry, it would if it sees this.

    Use ear and lung protection. electric chainsaw for finishing .You won't last long enought to be a good carver. I'm 67 and still carve a hell of a eagle.

      Dan Steadman I always use ear, eye, and lung protection when I carve. I only take those off for a video.

    thats fantastic. the view from the front is really cool. and what type of wood was that?

  • @eagletdolphin
    @eagletdolphin  11 років тому +2

    yes, it was very dull and the wood was in bad condition. I could have done that carving about 2 minutes faster if I had every thing set up right

    It'd be nice to have some music going along with it instead of the constant hum of the chainsaw. I like it otherwise.

  • @philippestrapko1
    @philippestrapko1 11 років тому

    do you need a special chain to do that?
