Amazing how much got carved out without a break! Awesome work and this vids really going to help me out. But, perhaps till I get use to my saw I'll be shaping the curves of wings and body with angle grinders.
I have about 7 chainsaws, I always start with the biggest one first, to have the most power to remove wood the fastest. I have the 880 down to the smallest one is a 250.
I keep checking (and hoping) to see if you uploaded a new carving video? This set of video's are fan frickentastic!! So what do you think about a new video?? Thanks........
I'll be uploading a new video of a speed carving of an eagle head next week and then maybe, I'll upload a speed carving of a bear head?,..thanks for watching Bill
Holy crap great video, could you make one slower. So a beginner can watch and copy cuts. Great work thank you Eric

Well done. Just came across your vids and subbed. Trying to learn to chainsaw carve, just purchased a cannon bar and a chain.
This is just awesome!
I discovered why you do all the heavy cutting to the top wing before moving to the bottom...it gets wiggly!
What is the size of the last chain saw in this video? length? Any particular chain to use?
ms 250 I have one with a 16 inch bar and a quarter size tip and my smallest one is a 12 inch bar with a dime size tip. no special chain, just sharp.
I see that you have 3 different sthil saws set up. what models and with what type of bars are you using.
