The hospital was bought over and the company closed their E.R that's why the doors weren't opening and why they didn't know where all the supplies were as it was all moved around or packed away
I worked in a hospital for years in the US - yes the hand massages in Dermatology are a joke. Within the TV show it was also even a joke, to exaggerate the cushiness of dermatology vs the grittiness and overwork of surgical residents’ lives.
I feel like we need to point out that many dermatologists work in “spas”. So there are massage therapists and all kinds of professionals in their spas. Not a hospital thing, though. Dermatologists do have it cushy. We pay dearly for it.
You guys should react to more Greys Anatomy episodes! I’ve watched so many different doctors react and you two are by far my favorite out of all the ones I’ve watched by far
Of all my specialty doctors, Derma has the most cushy office, waiting space, rooms, art, everything is leaps and bounds nicer than anyone else's office.
I just visited a private dermatologist office and it wasn’t too far off from that. They had cucumber water and every patient got their own iPad to sign in and do paperwork. Everyone in that place was purposefully beautiful. The doctor had his own female assistant following him around everywhere and he was charging 1200$ per mole removal for non medically necessary removal. So… not too shabby as they say.
I used to work in a spa and message therapists would take on all kinds of message therapy jobs in different types of places to make extra money. If there are message therapists or esteticians around, they will come up to you and randomly start messaging your hands or arms. That doesn't normally happen though and is mostly them being nice.
ya this was good fun =) .. Now for some time now I have been trying to figure out, or Guessing where that nice golden skin color come from. If I were to guess I would say around Turkey area ..Anyway this is the skin color all of us in Scandinavia is aiming for during summer time well at least the 3 weeks we have sun here :P .. Keep up the good work always more fun to laugh with other people that just alone :P
So basically they had an ER but it was closing for it to sell the hospital and the kid was dying and he needed an ER and the closest one was 1 hour away so they couldn’t do that and she was asking him if they can bring him to the closed ER for help
I’d venture to guess that the Dermatology department was like that for comedy’s sake only. 😆
Thank you, Sanchit out here thinking it’s a documentary 😂

ER was and is my favourite.medical show, always felt busy alive and chaotic like a real hospital in downtown Chicago would be like (I imagine)

Private practices have special services like massage. Plastic surgery offices are known for this kind of thing.
Please do more reactions to Greys Anatomy
