Not sure if this help anyone, but in the effects controls -Time Code settings, I had to change the "Time Display" drop down list to 30 non-Drop Frame to get real timing.
man you nailed this video my brotha... that drop the beat at the end was dope... then you topped it with that exit... gotttaaa go lol. im rollin sub like army right here!
Love your channel, bro. I've learnt countless things from your videos that has made my projects really stand out sometimes. Thank for the value you offer.
Great video. One thing though, and I might have missed it, but I needed to increase the 'speed' to 200. I was reviewing the final project and it seemed slow and when I changed it 200x it was perfect. Thanks much for the help!!
We're working on the preparations. Not just the T-shirt. There's a lot of work that goes into setting up a project like that. I hope to launch it early next month
thanks, for the second effect is there a maximum limit size for the text window? if I try to use the transform to move my text up and down at some point it seems like it reaches a point where it cant show the numbers like if they were cropped out.anyways great video!
@@LeeTSimba yes i did multiples text boxes along the timeline, and try to synch them together so we can't see where the cut happens. ended with 3 text boxes, i used chatgpt to write down the numbers because i needed one on each line and copy pasted them in the text boxes. to synch them i checked the speed of the last few frames i had on the first text box then matched that speed with the next text box and so on.
Ok so i thought i did everything you said… but the time is moving slower than regular time. so what should be a 5 minute 14 second countdown is 2:05 instead… any ideas?
Not sure what method u used but maybe you need to move the key frames closer together to shorten the countdown. Not sure if tht helps. I.e the keyframes should be placed in relation to the time you want. For example a 5 second countdown’s keyframes should b placed 1 second apart 5 times. If your countdown is 5mins long. You probably should use the first method.
@@joshuanumber727 well they are going to have to step up at some point with DaVinci in the game. the price of an adobe yearly license vs. the price of a lifetime license with DaVinci. The service and attention Davinci provides, really listening to customer's feedback and the performance for the price. all things that DaVinci outperforms adobe right now. Not a coincidence so many editors are making the switch
Hey I know this is super late, I don't know if you've found out yet, but when you add either the black video (or better in my opinion, a transparent video), make sure you're matching your sequence settings. If you make the canvas of the black video 1920x1080p the timer will be way off screen if your actual sequence is like 480x240p. Hope this helps if you still edit!

yes if im not mistaken you should set the "time display" to the same frame rate as your timeline
this was absolutely both awesome and useful which are difficult to combine in a single 6 minutes long video , thank you buddy
Thank you for everything
Jordy , so much love from KENYA

Excellent tutorial! I noticed my 60 second timer is going too fast - like it added an extra 14 seconds. Any tips on fixing?
same issue here...!
I don't have this issue but have you try to match your frame rate ? this looks like your timeline frame rate and timer frame rate are different
Simply beautiful. Thanks!
I love Premiere Basics to the core
Good evening Jordy
THANK YOU SO MUCH GANGO!!
Great video. One thing though, and I might have missed it, but I needed to increase the 'speed' to 200. I was reviewing the final project and it seemed slow and when I changed it 200x it was perfect. Thanks much for the help!!

Yeah same issue. Assuming make more layers then nest if you want better organization after finished.
Did you ever find a solution to the issue? I'm dealing with the same thing right now?

This was awesome. I was always wanting to know how to do this. Thank You
i am sorry but i wanna ask i did as you did but the number of mine was cute on the top in the following number how can I fixx that

Awesome, very easy to learn
Great explanation Jordy! But I still cannot believe Adobe cannot make a simple countdown-effect or something like that, within a text layer...
it’s not they they can’t it’s probably they either don’t care or want too lol

Love it! Time to add it to my livestreams next time. ❤
awsome
So a 10 minute countdown involves more layers and time? Then nest so it sticks as one whole video layer?
hey , I am the member of the like army.😉😉😉😉❤❤❤❤
the best part is, we don't have to ask for an useful episode here.... they come naturally
my countdown is showing hh:mm:ss:frames, with frames going from 0 to 30. How do you change the display of frames to milliseconds?
0:28 The numbers are not appearing to me, as it appearing in your video. I'm stuck many hours here...

Also 100th

for some reason every time I use this and want to start a specific countdown number, it doesn't allow me to use the number I typed in
🔥🔥
Hi ad? How to center center
My only issue was the tutorial is counting down frames for me how do I get it to countdown seconds
nevermind my time display was set to 60 fps when my source footage was set to 23.97 that fixed it making sure they were synced up.
Love
you holding in your opinion about the multiple motion layers tickles me.
so basically, if you want your timer not to be ugly there are no options in Premiere *clicks - "Replace With After Effects Composition"*
bang, gimana caranya agar waktu tetep lanjut berjalan di 59, 60, 61 dan seterusnya sampai 90 menit untuk timer pertandingan sepak bola..
We can use AFTER EFFECTS. it will take just one line script to get same count down xD ...
Can I be in the next video? STAY CREATIVE
There is no 'timecode' effect. Only timecode burn-in and metadata. It uses semi colons instead of colons.

Don't scroll around in the interface. it's a smart way to be dumb.
Hahahaha wash your hands he says!
If you would slow down when showing unfamiliar buttons it would be a lot easier to follow your technique.
