Great tutorial! One thing I would add is if you want to move the circle from the center, you need to move the radius wipe center to the new center of your circle. I learned that the hard way. :)

Thank you! I actually made one based on your guidance. I also made another version that is just a horizontal bar that “change colour” in the last five minutes (total was 30 minutes)
Was it pretty straightforward watching this video? I'd love to give it a go but sometimes find that the videos I watch for advice doesn't get me the end result
@@heyjqfitness1914 this is not something really straightforward. I have to watch it a few times, and end up with the same result. Mind you, once I’ve learn it, I can go back and customize it to the way I want it.

I have to say, I've used Adobe forever, invested into the company as well but there isn't a week that goes by where I don't swear at it. Way too time consuming. AI must change this, I know they're working on it. Imagine giving the app verbal commands to just do things for us....this isn't happening fast enough.

When it is possible to insert a "stamp" with a file name and a time stamp into a video in the AP, can the recording date be inserted in the same way (or similarly)? It's part of the metadata so maybe it should go but I can't find how to do it?

Thank you for this video. My question is regarding the 2nd part of the video. If I want to create the circle with a timer and a radial wipe, is there way to have those features and have the circle not in the center buy somewhere on the side??
First add the wipe effect when it's in the center, then nest it and change position anywhere

Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I need the timer to be in the right top corner, however, if I move the graphics, the wipe effect isn't like a clockwise timer anymore. How is it possible to move it by keeping the effect?

Great video, thanks! Is there a way to center the timecode automaticly so you don't have to "guess"? I can't seem to find any buttons for this as I do with other elements
Not that I know of, it's only manual placement. You can of course use the position pixels to find the center, just like I did in this video: ua-cam.com/video/4pe4rAyj5ZU/v-deo.html

Thanks. Just search for a countdown sound effect and add this to your audio track.
Brilliant video as usual mr Orange. Is there a way to set the timecode to any value? I need one that begins at 7 HOURS.
You have to go to the option source and> generate time to select your starting time

Why when we apply video transition such as film dissolve to the nested countdown timer, it flickered?
I am a newbie to premier pro and i gotta say this didnt work so well for me. I was able to do both tutorials separately but dont quite understand how to use the crop feature once i have my circle made? I end up cropping everything in that frame
Tried the simple version many times but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I need a 5min timer but it just doesn't match, I matched the transparent video to my clip exactly but it keeps giving me 5:39 instead of 5:00. When I select my clip, it says it starts at 0:39secs? If someone knows how to fix it, please let me know

I was using this method but all of the sudden I cannot see my timers anymore. Works for my older version of Premiere (15.4.5) but not for the newer version (22.5). Even if I open a project that had the timecode, they are not appearing. Have you come across this issue?

I often also watch my own tutorials back😅 I can't remember everything. But it's just a matter of repeating.

This is a great tutorial but the Radial Wipe effect has been moved into the Obsolete pile and I'm sure will eventually be gone. I'm wondering if the same timer can be created without Radial Wipe or if some new effect that does essentially the same thing has been added.
Hi, thank you so much for this video. But I'm stuck at 06.13. I can only put the radial wipe at the begin and the end of the elipse bar. I can not drope it and adjust it in the effects control pannel. Can you help he? :-)

You can save this as a project and open the project along another project, copy paste the content.
Great video ! Question : let's say I want to make a 20s countdown but I don't want to start from 19 and end to 0, I prefer to make it start from 20s and end at 1s, is it possible to do it ?
Sure, make the countdown longer, nest it and cut it off at the point you want it to start.

for some reason, the radial wipe transition only starts activating at around 5 seconds into the clip, despite the keyframe being at the beginning

you have to position the radial wipe in the center of your circles, just look at the position coordinates of your shapes and tipe the same in the radial wipe graph
my radial wipe seems to occur too early and kind of wipes dthe whole thing
