Thanks for the video. What tire and size are you running on that ranger?

When the shock goes down, does it make a friggin, “something just broke bang”, seems when going over bumps and the tires goes down it makes that sound.

I just replaced my shocks on my 2016 Ranger and i noticed the coils make alot of noise when turning the wheel. It seems like the noise is coming from where the shocks mount to the frame. Just curious if you notice any noise once you adjust your shocks on your unit?

Interesting. I do not seem to have the noise you described. I'm not sure what could cause that issue other than possibly a loose mounting fastener.

What if I need the lift or higher than normal, can you buy a longer shock?

With the lift kit in it would hit hard when the shocks extended and bottomed out the piston. No issues since going back to stock in any case.

@@aaronsrose holy cow AR, that’s fast. I had a guy lift the front and back but no idea what he did, the shock has oil or dirt now all over it and it’s at my hunting camp, not going back til next wknd. It was last weekend I figured the noise was on the down travel the up. Can I get a longer shock, it’s northern Ontario and I go over lots of rocks to fishing/ hunting places.

Longer travel shocks would fix the issue. I'm not sure if they exist, though they might as lots of people lift these things. I didn't look too see as I didn't really need the extra clearance up front. Oil on the shock was the same issue I had once it beat the seal out of it.

@@aaronsrose I also suppose it really doesn’t give a bunch more clearance. And that’s why there are skid plates, looks easy enough to change. Thanks for help, very thoughtful

i thought a lift either compressed or didnt affect the shock....idk now

That's what I expected but those spacers just extend the shocks too far.
