His mom was also an Allende (cousin of an Allende) that's why they were Allende supporters. They were at least upper middle class if not higher up in the social ladder.
I also read that his father was a fertility doctor who was indicted for tax fraud. He had fled to Chile before returning in 2022. The OC register wrote a story about it, and also about an egg-theft scandal where his dad, and other fertility doctors, stole women's eggs and gave them other women.

@@shan5963 its been a zillion years since i saw games of thrones and I don't play video games so i was busy finding out about the "last of us' storyline. even though I knew Pasqal looked very familiar I could not place him. beside he was younger in Thrones and now he is gray haired and older in Last of us. it was a nice surprise.

He is hot right now with every acting property a culture vulture hit globally. He has such range, capable of playing the everyman, and foreign Prince with equivocal believability. As a gay person of color myself, I give him extra points for his public and supportive stance of his transgendered sister and the LGBTQA community in general as well as for simply being a visible Hispanic POC opening doors for the next generation of actors that exist beyond an Anglo Saxon ecumene.
