David Sylvian interview 1986 - The quiet man talks it up

The former Japan frontman sat down with Steve Harris on October 8, 1986, at Toshiba EMI in Tokyo, Japan, to talk about his craft. Though Japan had received inordinate attention, this was an artistically frenetic period for Sylvian, as he had collaborated with Robert Fripp and put out a series of well received solo albums such as Brilliant Trees (1984), Alchemy: An Index of Possibilities (1985), and Gone to Earth (1986).
