regarding the markhyuck summer fight of 2017, i honestly believe that wasn’t all that was to it lol. that performance wasn’t the only incident during summer 2017 where they were seen tense around each other. back then, the 127 hyungs openly said they sometimes heard them fight and that the two of them even switched rooms so even if they were talking about the center position at that time (which i do believe as it makes sense), i think there was already some tension between them before and after. the airport pics from this day are also legendary, i’ve never seen mark as pissed off as he looked that day fr. but we need to remember, at the time they were just 17/18 years old, the only members of nct to constantly be switching between two units both actively promoting, so it makes sense if that tension of being stuck with each other in every schedule lead to them fighting. in the end, even if i don’t think that’s all, honestly i don’t need them to tell us anything. everybody knows that mark and haechan have a special friendship, they bicker a lot & drive each other up the walls, but always know to rely on the other and knowing that they are close friends despite any fights that may or may not have happened is the most important. besides, some kpop beefs need to stay mysterious, it adds spice to the experience lol
