zf 8hp70 capacity is 8.7 liters. Draining and refilling during a filter change only removes about 3 liters from the pan. How can you remove and replace all the fluid without having to do repeated drain and fill flushes?
Unfortunately you cannot remove all of the fluid without the use of a flushing machine. The transmission and trans cooler could be drained but the torque converter cannot.
@@RaybestosGarage the cooler remains closed and recirculates the fluid back to the transmission under 76 degrees. I'm not sure if there is a machine to do this other than one that adds and subtracts until it has added 15 courts through the system. But it only adds and subtracts from the fill plug incrementally.
It is a bit strange that hearing the imperial voice while looking at the metric subtitle.

Where can you get the tool for removing the snap rings?
Why would you choose these over the more standard rings that almost half the price??? Is this tool more universal so you can use it on other trans?
I want that insert tool too but don't see it on their site
Could you use a bigger impact gun to remove those pan screws jeez.
