I knew the perpetrator was not white, because no description of him for weeks

The "Wanted" poster does so much to downplay the attack. Instead of saying assault it says misdemeanor assault so it sounds like it's not as bad as a regular assault. Then says it only caused a little redness and pain. Basically like a bug bite or some other trivial thing, not mentioning the concussions.
