To be honest it would be cool to see you go through her albums in chronological order instead of skipping to reputation or folklore so you can see the growth throughout the years. Also the Taylor’s versions of the albums are basically better versions with better vocals and more songs so if you go next in order Fearless Taylor’s Version would be next. Great reaction!
I assume you used the term "Taylor Swift hater" purely for the sake of click bait (cuz you don't seem like an actual hater). So what is your history with her? How many of her songs are you familiar with? What are your general impression of her, either as a person or as an artist? I found it interesting that you started with her debut album, which is rarely ranked among favorites by swifties (except by some of her hard-cord country fans). If you think you might go through all of her albums, then you could just as well do Fearless next, since it was her 2nd album. Just be warned that it is mostly country. Her 3rd and 4th albums are mostly country-pop. If you are only going to pick just a few of her albums, then I'd say skip ahead to her Reputation era. For this (and any other TSwift albums), I'd suggest hearing the songs by watching live performance videos and/or music videos because she awesome live, and her music video's are mind-blowing. For a sample of what I mean, here is the first song on her Reputation album in two formats: Reputation Stadium Tour movie: intro + "ready for it" (the first minute of the video is the movie intro, but don't skip it. It is what fans saw on big screens at the concert.) ua-cam.com/video/2QJaf6qq8jQ/v-deo.html And this is the music video: ua-cam.com/video/wIft-t-MQuE/v-deo.html
I did use Taylor Swift hater just for clickbait, I've only really heard one or two of her songs before this; being Shake it off and the one she did with Kendrick Lamar. I don't really feel any way about her, I dont hate her and I dont love her. And yeah a lot of people have suggested reputation so I think thats what ill do next.
I feel like her debut album isn’t really the best album to react to first, it’s her first album and is entirely country. Fearless is her second album and has more country songs but two popular songs in the album. Speak Now is her third album and is more different than her first two albums, I would say it’s more medieval and castle vibes but I don’t really know how to explain it, it has a mix pop and country in it. Red is her fourth album and has a couple of popular pop songs on there like “I knew you were trouble”, “We are never ever getting back together” and “22”. This album has more of a pop mix to it but has some elements of country. 1989 is her fifth album and is a switch up from country/pop to fully pop. This album has a lot of hits like “Blank space” “Style” “Shake It Off” “Bad Blood”. This album is a fan favorite by a lot of people and is full of pop bangers. Reputation is her sixth album and is a comeback album. This album is a super different vibe from 1989 but still pop, it’s darker and has a lot of underrated songs, this album is the most liked by swifties. Lover is her seventh album by her and is basically a fun album. This album is definitely the album that she experimented with different instrument. folklore is her eighth album and is a surprise album and is an album that is the most lyrical and has a whole different vibe, it is folky and sadder. She was supposed to go on tour for Lover but the Pandemic hit and she couldn’t so she wrote folklore over it. evermore is her ninth album and is a sister album to folklore. evermore is similar but more brighter and has a lot of underrated songs on the album. Midnights is her tenth album and her most recent. This album is back to pop and is more of a sparkly and dark vibe. Anyways those are her albums. You could go in chronological order of her albums or just do random ones. Whatever you feel, have a nice day!
can’t believe you don’t know who Tim Mcgraw is and thought it was a dead family member. he’s one of the most famous country artists ever lol. Also the sixth track isn’t about a breakup, it’s about feeling alone in your younger years.
