When I was pregnant and found out my son was going to be born with a rare brain malformation I felt so lonely and sad. Doctors weren't saying much because until he was born it was going to be a waiting game on determine determing the severity of it. Well every time I entered a church and saw an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus I always felt a sense of peace and joy. It was as if she was telling me "it's going to be alright".

Last January (2016) while participating in the March for Life in Washington, DC, a band from a Catholic college began playing. Thousands of marchers, who had braved the "blizzard of the century" to bear witness to the faith, began singing "Hail Holy Queen Enthroned Above" with the music. I sang the hymn twice the second time man I felt something heavy leave me as I sang it the second time. The first time I sang it to myself quietly but something like spiritual chains started to shake and grow weaker as I then sang again with more feeling more soul in my voice and the final note those chains snapped off

I sang the hymn twice the second time man I felt something heavy leave me as I sang it the second time. The first time I sang it to myself quietly but something like spiritual chains started to shake and grow weaker as I then sang again with more feeling more soul in my voice and the final note those chains snapped off
