Yes but true. Of course presumably when actually filming the training video it was a millpond with negligible risk, and they probably didn't bother to cut the life rafts free, just deflate then and either send them for service or write them off. Ditto the windows.
@twolfend the srn4 hovercraft was constructed in such a way that the hull could flood upto 75% buoyancy loss and still float...granted this demo was carried out in a harbour on flat calm water in daylight and with safety boats etc (plus the crew and "passengers" knew it was a drill) not mid channel in a force six gale and poor visabity
Worry not hovercraft have a multi compartment watertight flotation tank. "This woman is doing something wrong and knows her rubber duck doesnt look right", if you see a passenger inflating her inflatable animal in the cabin, encourage them to deflate it!
"You are not a survivor until you get ashore." Jesus, that's dark for a training video!

And everybody has fallen asleep because of captain's voice
"remember - you are not a survivor until you get ashore" haha brilliant!
'this woman knows she has done something wrong, and is becoming embarrassed and resentful'.
the bloody thing's sinking, give her a break!

Talking over the captain so the message garbled
That was really interesting!
Do they have these type of videos for airlines as well?
To think that video must have taken up 1/3 of a journey.
That video was for crew training only.

SRN4 Hovercraft training video for the Hoverspeed SRN4 Hovercraft crew.
Yeah they do.
Ignore the man running down the aisle shouting "we're all going to die, we're all going to die". (me)
@2taurus shoes must be removed because they could tear the liferaft which would then deflate or leak...not a good idea
is the seacat still Used?
They were replaced by the Eurotunnel.
Not by Hoverspeed. They went bust.
doesn't help your confidence
