Emma, you'll be proud of me. I had a few minutes before work and a small bare spot in one of my beds, so i wacked in some fall beets!
Great footage of the robin ❤ fab harvest and vlog Emma 🥰
Lovely harvest, I still think Bobin the Robin is the best name 🤞
Toboggan the Robin is the best name ever!
70% off seeds at Wilko if you’re quick ;)
A blog post about how you entertain your children at the allotment would be great.
You can use all the runner beans cut thinly around the bean cut the edges cut in to small pieces cut at an angle boil till soft and eat x
There's no better feeling than harvesting your crops. Lovey to see you with your kids, doing gardening rather than technology. Making memories they'll always cherish. X
Love your adventures in your allotment garden!! So wholesome to watch!! 🙂!!
Bobbin is a good name for him
Watching you Emma for quite a few months now, I love your gentleness, and you always inspire me to do half an hour in my garden after I've watched a new upload from you ❤x BTW your son (Tom?) is absolutely correct about green potatos/gases/basement & dying 👍 xx keep up to the good lovely.
Hi Emma, thank you for another cheerful update. Your children are adorable. Great fix for you polytunnel, but you may want to put some clear duck tape over the holes you made, on both sides, as in time the plastic will rip open and it will be a whole crater rather than a small slit. Happy gardening :-) x
Clever worm escaping poor little thing, I feed my Robin seeds x
Lovely! Harvested kale and chard as well, chopped it all up and tossed it in an omelette :) Also made myself an entirely self grown salad with lettuces, tomatoes, cucumber, garlic, chives and parsley! Onion harvest failed miserably though, so added a store bought shallot. Happy days!
Love the harvest Emma, good to see the kids joining in . I actually have a small head of broccoli for the first time ever this year but never been able to grow cauliflower so well done you
Calendulas have done really well in my garden, I'm drying them to make calendula oil and salve
Same here in Scotland. I did start them indoors then in my greenhouse for a few more weeks. Waiting on my calendula oil to make more skin products.😊
My celendula still look green with unopened buds!
I'd have to pick those apples!
It makes me so happy to see kids joining their parents in gardening, even if just for a day here and there. What a lovely harvest you have! The only things ready for harvesting right now in mine are some pole beans here and there… and flowers. Everything else should be ready in about another month or so, I think. Then it will be time to sow my cover crops and garlic in one of my beds.
Your kids are very intelligent. Nice allotment plot harvest em. Carrotts suffered this year. Very wet. Rot and lots of cracking.
I share your excitement over a harvest, even if just a bit. It feeds the body and the soul
Yes, our calendulas have self seeded and we have loads. Your Swiss Chard looks beautiful, haven’t picked any yet. I’m still so jealous of your pumpkin arch and I’m hoping I will have a good year next year.
I think Mr Robin will will work just fine.. A lovely name 😁
Hi Emma I’m just going to remind you to mulch around vulnerable plants with nettles and brambles happy gardening Richard x
❤ Emma, can I suggest that the robin be called Christopher, in honour of the character from the nursery rhyme.
If you roll the door from the inside, it won't hold water 😊
So simple, so why haven't I ever thought of this?
Also probably the pigeons eating your peas/green beans etc as they love these kinds of leaves and been eating mine too so covered them up with a cane frame & mesh.. I bought “adjustable plant connector clips” from UA-cam to make easy frames from canes, without string -- ignore any Temu haters as at least Temu sends all of your items together, unlike wish.. Temu gives opportunities to buy items in this country that otherwise we wouldn’t get- and where are most of the products in the world made??
love your videos.. feel the disappointment with wildlife.. 😬
Hi Emma I’ve enjoyed your video yes it’s nice for the kids & they will remember going to the plot & they might grow their own when they are bigger! those apples hanging over your plot you can have them ! that lovely little Robin loves you bless him lv Irene 😘 xx
Morning Emma
Hope you get to read this but I ordered a compost of Amazon which has kept the darn slugs 😬 and cats of my container veg, they go on others without this stuff, well worth buying and I guess with it being professional stuff it has a repellant, I only use a .5 centimetre on top and works a treat-->

Whichever one of your kids was talking about the people who died from potato gas poisoning - was right! Potatoes stored in the basement of their house the potatoes rotted and killed the inhabitants one-by-one
I remember reading about it.
Love it Emma! That chard looks amazing!!
Happy memories and successful harvest. GOD is good.
Wow another amazing video keep up the fantastic work on your plot thanks for sharing.
Brilliant Emma! Keep up the good work.
Lovely vlog ,has brightened my day as I've had to give up my allotment due to moving to a different town, you're plot is looking fabulous and you're harvest looks delicious, hope you all enjoy eating it x
Enjoyed seeing the children with you ❤
I’m so sick of the slugs 🤢
I too read about the people dying in the basement due to the gasses from potatoes 😮
everything is so behind, this weathers been awful, heres hoping we have an indian smmer
Oh my goodness, Emma please please please call that robin Clive. We have a little in-joke at our plot that the robin is called Clive (for no particular reason) and now whenever we see ANY robin, we say “there’s Clive!” It would be so amusing to me if you also joined in. Haha. X
Emma dud you remember to pick up your scissors that were on the ground
Greetings from Bangladesh 😊
Hi my king Edward potatoes are still very green so not ready for taking out yet hopefully get a good return this year and hopefully you will get some Christmas potatoes
Please can I ask what you use to film your episodes? And do you use some kind of editing software/apps.?
1St again to watch and like, WoooHoooo :D
Traditionally Robins do apparently go Bob Bob bobbing along so Bobbin seems a good name. Also when Bobbin grows older and develops a love for gangsta rap Bobbin Robin will scan perfectly.😂 no idea if Robins eat slugs but I like worms so Bobbin needs a worm-free diet and regular helpings of slugsnailsushi!😂
Never known a year calendula does badly.
Is it an allotment rule to grow Calendula's? 😅
Lovely children you have Emma.
Take a shot every time she says calendula 😂 😵💫🥴
All of my carrots were eaten by slugs and all chinese lanterns and delphiniums got eaten too
thans Emma's good video Top groodjes.👣🌻🌞🥤👋🎈💐🐌🥦🍠🥕🍈🌿
Lovely vlog, you don’t look old enough to have kids their age!! X
Just hope its the cat and not your neighbour 🙀
It’s your trowel not your spade
