Thanks for the video. I got as far as unscrewing the lock from the door. Mine has 12 pointed star bolt. I dont have that in my tool kit so its going to the mechanics for the rest. Cheers

If you follow the steps correctly, it isn't that much of a problem. The important part is to not remove the lower screws of the power window completely.
Hi, my sons window drioped out after he lowered thhe window when froze and it came out the regulator. Managed to get it back in bit it sounds like the mechanism is straining now. Any idea what im missing.
Thats bad. you sure that the motor is the problem? If it's the window regulator, you can at least cut the cable and lower the window. Nonetheless, it will be difficult

I used a patent player to hold it from the outside and unscrew it

One of the window regulator mounts is probably broken or damaged. Hard to say without seeing it for myself
what if the window is up all the way and out of runner ,and will not lower, ie motor faulty.
please explain workaround.

No, if you just want to change the panel, all you need to do is to pull out the cover and then you have access
