      I work in a school and it's completely against regulations to physically touch a student in any way, even if it's just a supportive hug. I along with other staff have been given multiple 3 hour lectures discussing that it's inappropriate and potentially dangerous to the staff member to make any physical contact with a student.
      Of course, as there are double standards between men and women, so women don't usually get pulled up on it.

    Absolutely amazing can you imagine seeing new colors and realizing how much more beautiful the world is and that you been living up that point not knowing and without the kindness of the people around you, you’d have never known. I choked up several times writing this so I can’t imagine how he feels living it.

      That isn't how those glasses work. Colorblind people have no way of actually seeing proper colors. The glasses make it easier to distinguish between different colors by shades. Green, for example, would look like a darker yellow for those with a common type of colorblindess. They usually look the same without the glasses.

    Most, if not all, people seeing colors for the first time cry. No matter what age or gender. They all shed tears... and so are we.

      They don't actually see colors. They can't. The glasses just make it easier to distinguish colors they can't see by making them appear in darker *shades.* Green would look like a darker yellow to them, for example.

    This makes me want to sell my stressful business and move to the beautiful mountains. We all need to be more appreciative of everything we take for granted. I do love looking at the bright blue sky but need to appreciate it this much every day.

    Why do I do this to myself... I knew I was going to get emotional by reading the title and I still clicked on the video. Now my eyes are watering. We should have grateful. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the most valuable. For this boy to see colors for the first time and seeing his reaction is priceless.

    What a gift we have to see God's beautiful creation I'm all of its splendor. What a worthwhile donation catagory. This brings joy to my heart. As well as cochlear implants.     That is so wonderful and isn’t it great that there are so many people who are willing to help. I am so glad you are willing to share what has been given to you with others. I love it when they first put the glasses on and start seeing colors. It’s like there is a pause in the whole universe and then things start up again.

    My 2 daughters and I purchased these glasses for my husband a few years ago. He’s red/green color blind. It was a snowing winter day so there wasn’t a lot of color outside, but he noticed the fluorescent green road signs. He was shocked by that color. So glad you raised the money to get them.

    Saw this unexpectedly during a show, I had to look it up, and watched it. I can't stop bawling this is so emotional. So glad he could see colors with these special glasses.     I Never saw one guy who tryed this and not crying
    Seems it’s overwhelming if you show your awareness that that there is much more than we can perceive
    Not only for color blind people, there probably are soooo much more colors, but we can’t see them with our human eyes.
    Same with the ears, we only can hear so few frequency ranges

    Mom starts a GoFundMe page so she can get her son some color blind glasses. She gets $7,000 for glasses that cost $350, and this wonderful woman donates the extra money to other people who need colored blind glasses.
    I've heard of pay it forward, but this takes pay it forward to a whole new level! ❤️💖
