It is really interesting to see the difference in body attitude and stance on the bike between Chris and you. I find things like that really educational as it encourages me to try and play with different riding styles. Great trail and great riding.
Great video Tommy, one of my favorites. As a local, can I ask that all you guys wear bike bells. I didn't hear any in the video. We try to keep the bell boxes at all the trail heads stocked and if the aren't reach out to Sage Trail Alliance. Unfortunately, the hikes hold all the power and money and have been trying to get us kicked off the trails for years.
29 wheels would make it a little easier but not by a whole lot, these are boulders not rocks, the main reason Chris's bike rolls over easier is because it's a 29er but mainly it's because his bike is way longer and he's a bad ass rider.
IMO that sets the standard for Tunnel TB vids. I've never ridden this trail but I've hiked it more than once. It's hard to get how steep and challenging it is unless you've been on it. Hearing "here comes the gnarly part" *after* two washouts says it all! I'm taller than you, Tommy, but there's no question whose balls are bigger. And you and BB Chris are a good tandem. Great to see you riding this time, Tommy. Peace (and stay in one piece!)
I do group rides but there's no way I would do a group ride on a trail like this. When we go in a group of 4-5 it takes twice as long. This trail is really gnarly and most people would walk alot of sections, flats are very likely and it would probably take several hours to get down just 1 run. When I do group rides I normally hit Aliso the trails are alot more mellow and rideable for most riders
Sure does go on for miles. It's super consequential and gnarly. Fun on the right bike if you're willing to take chances. Views up there are out of this world. Another entertaining video Tommy! Props to you and your girl. 😉💪🏻
Yes, I was warned by a bunch of people about Tunnels, I went on UA-cam and watched a couple videos and said, ok it's gnarly but nothing I can't do, but once I got on the rock garden I was WTF! It's on a different level 💪
Yes it's worth it, not sure if you have ridden Ginger, that's the gnarliest trail in Bootleg this one is just a step gnarlier but it's 10 times as long 💪
Best trail in So Cal🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻what??? So lucky I live 30 minutes away. Haven’t hit tunnels yet but Jesusita ties into it towards the bottom, that’s not as tech, but has a nice flow to it. Your buddy tipping that Jameson😂😂😂😂good shit guys🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Yeah Tunnels is a bad ass trail, I'm always nervous on the ride up and going down always scares the shit out of me but once I'm done I'm so stoked I made it out alive 🤘
Supr to session's in MTB in Santa Barbara city of California the best ravel ing a thes tunnels in Cold 🤙 Springs the so crazy intense trail co the amig. Chris 🗣️ yyaasicke. Saluds of chile good to lucky guy's 🍀🚵🚴🤘😀📹😀👍
Girl, of all the UA-camrs, your videos get me the most stoked to go ride my bike and push the limits. Keep up the awesome POV.
Hahahaha thanks brotha 🤘
So sick, Tommy! That's a gnarly chunky trail. Chris gets steezy at every chance...🤘💥
Thanks brotha 🤘 yes Chris is on another level 💪

You better be trying to ride like Chris not me, unless you can take alot pain 🤣
That poor Enduro was begging to be let loose.... Sick riding on some gnarly AF trails
Great riding Tommy and Chris. That was some impressive chunk, thanks for another great video.
Thanks brotha 🤘 glad you enjoyed it
Great video..last few minutes epic good flow and jumps😈😈👌
Yeah the end of the trail is super flowy and has fun optional drops 👌
Good videos guys keep it up. Im from SB and I KNOW how challenging that trail is 👏🏼💪🏼
Thanks brotha 🤘 yeah video doesn't do this trail justice

Man that trails sketchy! Tommy you might want a 29 in the front. Looking at the SB, its just rolling over those big rocks.

Thanks brotha 🤘 yeah meet hikers all the time that can't believe that we ride down some sections. Video never does the trail justice.
DAMN, think you could find some more rocks? That was crazy. Got my shirt it is SICK. My daughter loves the logo.
Hell yeah 🤘 thanks for your support 🙏
Wow. That is a nice trail. You should do a day of riding for your viewers. Thanks for the amazing videos.

Dang, that would even be gnarly on my TX 300 dirt bike. I need to take a trip out there and try that one.
Verry help my!!💪👍
Yes it's gnarly, I hope you will try riding it down on a mountain bike since dirt bikes are not permitted there
@@TommyHuynh LOL... of course!
@@TommyHuynh okey,thanks!👍
@@motogp1gprix1 hahahaha ok just making sure
Inspiring and discouraging!...15 min rock garden if doom!
Thanks for sharing and edits
It's actually alot longer than 15 mins the rock garden goes on for miles 💪

Damn, I think you guys found the portal to Gnarnia haha.
It's great to see that when you make mistakes (like I do) you include the footage. Keep it coming.
Tommy you a solid crew to roll with! That’s awesome bro!
Thanks brotha 🤘
Straight riPppPPEnnnNnN... 🤙🏼 good stuff guys keep shredding..
Tommy, Great stuff as always! Tons of tech challenges coming at you one after the other!
Yes it's non stop, you have to be on your A game especially going at that speed, super tech and gnarly
This trail looks so crazy and I know how much the camera flattens things out.
I was saying the same thing, gnarly
Yes, I was warned by a bunch of people about Tunnels, I went on UA-cam and watched a couple videos and said, ok it's gnarly but nothing I can't do, but once I got on the rock garden I was WTF! It's on a different level 💪
Man that intro crash gets me to watch the whole video every time.
Hahahaha 🤘
Slam on the rock and some skins will open!, so rocky and so rocky and so rocky... hahaha
Yes 💯 I got lots of scars from this place
I need to take a drive down from Vegas to do this one!
Yes it's worth it, not sure if you have ridden Ginger, that's the gnarliest trail in Bootleg this one is just a step gnarlier but it's 10 times as long 💪
was that cris where follow you? your rear wheel tracks the earth so sweet!! good trail.
Yes Chris was following me 🤘
You should need to go to Dawnieville California bro .. ✌🏻
Yeah hopefully one of these days, it's hard with the restaurant
Sick vid, cruising by your restaurant tomorrow. 🙂
Hell yeah 🤘 see you tomorrow
can't beat those damn good times!
Hell yeah it was 💯
The camera on the ground really puts how difficult that trail is into perspective
Yeah it does a better job then the POV but I still think it doesn't do the trail justice

Tommy Huynh t_wrex_mtb sweet Nectar
My palms and feet sweat watching this video. I could feel my adrenaline pumping. Lol
Awesome riding like always!! Big booty Chris has some class even in nasty rockgardens 😂
Hahahaha yes he does 💪
You should start making some vlogs leading up to the rides. I'd watch them forsure.
Unfortunately I barely have enough time for my current edits with work and family as well
@@TommyHuynh I completely understand, but if your schedule opens up. You should consider it, I think you would get some good views.
That’s looks every bit as technical and every bit as dangerous as Portal. Am I wrong? Because this looked insane.
