UA-cam randomly presented your channel on my feed. I never pursued being a pilot, though I really wanted to. Watching this, shows me what 'could have been.' Oh yeah, subscribed! Looking forward to more of your content! ✈
Ok fair warning, DO NOT GO to Florida Tech unless you have your PPL already. They already cut down our days by 1/3 as compared to last year, and there continue to be major resource issues. It also has taken people I know 1 year + to get their ppl. (even with 2 flying days a week, it shouldn't be longer than a semester.) Cool Video Though!
Yeah, it took me 8 months to get my PPL. But thats because the weather was uncooperative, I know people with the morning flight block got through it faster.
Hey randomly got this video and it was actually informative! Hows FIT classes and aviation for you so far? I was thinking about going here or to middle georgia. Thank you!
@@ThatAvgeekKidthanks for letting me know the info. I am working on my PPL right now. So just been scouting out a few locations Auburn, Georgia, Florida
Not sure why pilots at a school need to be taught pre-calculus... simple algebra and geometry do the job perfectly fine. Also when checking the prop, use a FLAT HAND across the blade so you don't slice your hand open from any sharp knicks, or cracks.
Avi here, I installed the new Garmin stack on November! Glad you guys like her so far! I loved the interior. Got two more in the works soon ;) funny this vid was on my feed haha
what the actual fuck are you guys yapping about he did absolutely nothing except show us what it was like to pursue his dream and show us how he’s achieving it. some people make no sense smh
@@jdoe4983 I certainly care more about flight training than making videos, but if theres a way to do both then why not make it happen. Either way, I don't go out and film every flight I do, and I don't mess with the camera when in critical phases of flight. Sincerely me, Private Pilot
Hi just had one question, what are the ways of like getting to the airport if we don't have a car for example? Does the university provide any sort of transportation? Thanks
I get to pick each semester. Currently, I have 4 classes. Two meet on MWF, one meets MW, and one meets TR. It's very manageable for me. You can take more courses each semester, but I couldn't fit another one into my schedule.

I really like it here! The professors, classes, and flight program is all great.
And I would recommend that you come in with your private if you can. It will save you so much time and money.

Fellow student here, love flying 24ft. My second favorite behind 48N😊
I used to hate 24 before they fixed the engine start problems, but now it's one of my favorites! Same with 48N

Imagine being a flight instructor to these UA-cam narcissists.
Perfect match for the flight instructors at FIT

I just got accepted as an international student. I saw that they apparently have “aerobatics”as an elective. Do you know anything about that?
I don't know much about it unfortunately, but @JaydenCornwall has a great video about it if you're interested!
Computer Applications with Prof xie is not for the weak.

How many classes would you say you have per day? And is that amount manageable
