Looks great! I thought foggy headlights was a build up of mist/dirt inside the headlight! I think I want to try doing mine now!
Idid this on my scooby
how long do you sand it with the sandpaper? for each grit
I considered DIY, but doing it proffesionaly costs ranges from 40 to 80 pounds.
In my opinion money well spent compare to price of restoration kits, and the fact that if you do it for the first time it will not be done as pro.
fyi, the PTFE is for painted surfaces, not Polycarbonate 👌
Thanks for the heads up mate, every day is a learning day and I’ll bear it in mind next time 👍👌
looks worse? you should of buffed it 2 or 3 times
It’s made it look and feel much better. I’ll do a video on a much worse set of headlights in the future hopefully
you should of buffed them with the cuttin compound 2 or 3 times and it would of been crystal clear 👍
I buffed twice with cutting
Compound then sealed them at the end of the video mate 👍
You should be applying 2 coats of clear laque for a perfect crystal clear finish.
Nice try. You are better off using a quality cordless drill. Your method mirrors what many kits in the US do. The Headlight Restoration Pro on UA-cam breaks the mold with lasting results.
