It is ridiculously expensive especially to someone who has been going there since ticket books. I know... "Back in my day...blah blah blah... I refuse to pay that much for standing in line and paying for everything else.
I was going to tell you to go on your birthday, because they used to offer free tickets to people on their birthday. However, I looked it up and they stopped doing that. That's so stupid. They really can't let one penny get away from them these days.

Great video! I got my reservation on June 10th, at an 8:00 PM slot, which was perfect! I've always loved Disneyland at night; those imagineers always nail it with their ambient lighting. Unfortunately, I had surprise surgery like 3 days before! I didn't ride the Millenium Falcon since I was freshly cut open and operated on, but I was just happy going around geeking out at everything and taking photos. I tried to get my group to dress up in appropriately themed outfits so I could take their pictures, but nobody wanted their picture taken. I upgraded my pass, though, so I'll be going back a few more times in the near future!
I prefer the blue milk by far. I’ve already had 4 in 2 trips! I also say Ray on my way out and she was incredible. She came up to me and we started talking about my time at the Outpost.
He said”I know where Rey is!”The stormtrooper came and gave him the death stare. Then my dad said”she knows where Rey is!”Then the stormtrooper gave me the death stare. The stormtrooper said”I will be watching you for sure!”.(btw we saw Rey)
I only like #1 (Ride the Millennium Falcon). The other things I can skip. Build a droid didn't seem that great, and build a light saber might be good, but it's $200, which is too expensive. Restaurants don't seem like anything special. That bar is okay scenery.
So there are only to rides at toy story land but your not complaining about that, Ou and two rides at pandora but everybody loves pandora. And besides one of the rides is probably going to be spectacular and cost them the most money
Well considering that it seems that haley edge is nothing more than food and expensive toy shops he kinda.has non choice to do a food review if that all they.really have. 100 dollar.for.a.toy droid. Just a heads up ,the droids that you build to take home don’t interact with each other. Employees mistakenly told people that by mistake. They do react at certain points of galaxys edge based off if your in first order or resistance. So when you walk through those parts of Galaxys edge your droid reacts as well as any other droids will too and people think it’s talking to the other droid ,but it it’s not.
Fourteen acres of Star Wars?! My heart skipped a beat and a tear dripped on my pillow. My goodness. Edit: I heard something about souvenir Coke Cans that look like thermal detonators. So I can throw that across the park and yell "COLA DETONATOR!"?
I’m sure you know by now as it’s been a year, but since I can’t help myself, they are in the rise of the resistance ride that opened in December 2019 in Disneyworld and January 2020in Disneyland (I believe)
I went Opening day, SO COOL. Im gonna tell y'all what the top experiences and best parts of the land in my opinion: 1.) The CAST MEMBERS: They make this place feel real, and it's amazing how dedicated they are to the story. If you get any chance, just talk to them and they'll tell you some amazing stories and background to who they are. 2.) Savi's Workshop: I'm not gonna lie, I'm a big Star Wars fan, but even if I wasn't this experience is more than amazing. Interactive, real, and honestly so Star Wars in a unique way. And a GREAT place for CM interactions. Talk to them while building your saber, and they'll tell you stories of how they got those pieces you're using. It really gave me a personal connection to my saber and I would do it 100 more times if I could. 3.) Millenium Falcon: There's rare moments in a Disney park where you actually forget reality for a split second, and this ride is it's location. "Simulator" yes, but it's more real than that. A couple tips: 1. Use the play Disney app with the Datapad, keep it open on your phone while you ride, Honda literally deposits your credits in the account. Also he "remembers" you before you enter the cockpit. Also, a CM outside the land told us during her preview, her superiors kept the falcon flying for 15 minutes, idk how real that is, by our last ride, my crew and I didn't miss a beat. But the controls got locked out at the end and sort of Deus Ex Machina'd us out of the ride. Still fun, but try your best! (ALSO LEFT PILOT IS WHERE ITS AT) 4.) The Cantina: Another spot that is Star Wars DNA but it's own thing, the only reason this isn't higher on my list is because of some personal experiences that brought it down, but it's something you should do. To make a long story short, my crew and I stood in line for an hour and a half, our feet pretty much dead, but we wanted to do it. We just needed to sit because my Grandpa was with us and he needed a rest. First thing you should know is it is TINY. And at times people were pretty rude and were literally pushing and shoving. They sat us at this big booth with another family, who was frankly kinda bumming us out, they literally didn't speak to us or make eye contact, and started to squabble pretty much the whole time, when they weren't fighting they literally would sit dead silent with these huge scowls. Drinks are fun, music is good, I have three things Disney should improve on in the future for this in expansion or whatever else. CAPACITY, make it a TS restaurant with Reservations. CHARACTERS, we were all disappointed to not see any characters freely roaming and mingling with us, not even recognizable people, but maybe some alien made-up or droid dressed people. ENTERTAINMENT, DJ-R3X is awesome, but leaves some wanting, They were going to originally do a hoop-dee-doo revue style show in a sit down restaurant that was cut for budgeting and they should BRING IT BACK, it would be so cool and very Star Wars 5.) Droid Depot: A few reasons I liked this, The area is very cool and detailed, plus again immerses you. Second, it's a fun experience, it was like Savi's but a little less intimate, still cool though. Third and BEST REASON: Your Droid. Now when Disney told us that the land would interact with us, no one was expecting this. Your droid, literally, will react to different spots in the land, different characters, and other droids. And the TOP EXPERIENCE EVER was this: My sister had a Resistance Aligned Droid, and a FO Trooper approached her and goes "Might want to adjust that personality chip, and the droids too." We literally all screamed while he walked away. Then the character attendant for the troopers, who is under the guise of a Resistance spy, told us "He saw your droid was resistance on his scanners, you better protect it!" THE TROOPER SOMEHOW KNEW IT HAD A RESISTANCE CHIP. It's so cool. 6.) Merch, so cool, so immersive, basically experiences in themselves, and the CMs are awesome. Dok Ondar's is so cool. 7.) Characters: The reason this isn't higher is because there's like a few things that somewhat bother me with the characters, but on the other hand I love them so much. Basically you can play games with Rey and Chewie (btw another great experience, REY AND CHEWIE ASKED TO SEE MY LIGHTSABER AND I WAS SO EMO AND I WAS GONNA CRY) the games seemed a little kiddie at times, but I have to keep saying to myself Disney is FOR THE KIDS. The Troopers and FO Officers are great, the stage show is an amazing element and really keeps you feeling like you're there. The troopers are super quick witted and honestly deserve a standing ovation. The Chewie Costume is REAL, I literally thought it was him, plus there's a ton of fun interactions Chewie has with the resistance land. 8.) Food: There's only a few things I liked; the RONTO WRAP is awesome, Meloriuoon Juice is like Raspberry Lemonade but great, Outpost Mix is a unique treat I enjoyed but only FRESH, Batuu-bon is essentially just chocolate cake and mousse but good, coke products are good and are so cool to keep and drink out of, I tried both milks, green is the best, blue is kinda weird, and I honestly probably would only get the milks for the experience of drinking them. When I go back I'll get them, but I'm not clamoring for one. Docking Bay 7 food is eh, you have to want to like it, but it's a cool area. Fun things I didn't rank but are still cool: Pictures are awesome and TAKE PICS WITH YOUR SABERS AT NIGHT best pictures ever. Don't be mean about it, but ask the CMs about non-star wars stuff like Mickey or Disney, they get funny about stuff that's not in their universe. Really cool merchandise for everyone, don't discount the Resistance Kiosks or the FO Cargo, those are very cool. Tips: - Calm down while flying the falcon and have a positive attitude, people will be screaming at you especially if you're a pilot. - If you have a kid and they get pilot, consider switching them unless they're actually good, I'm just trying to save you the trouble of when people get mean with you, I personally had no issues with kid pilots, in fact, we had one kid who was the best I've seen! - Word of caution, I used the term "Animatronic" in Dok Ondar's and a CM got very upset with me for insulting him, "He's ITHORIAN how would you like it if I called you some sort of droid!" It was funny, but as always play along. - Funny CM comments are the best about the Falcon, they literally think that ship is like someone parked a ratty RV in their front lawn. - If you can, watch when the FO Stormtroopers and Kylo Ren come to Savi's. The Savi's crew get's so funny. They shut down everything, including sales, and do a fake bidding war with you to throw them off the scent. And they also mumble stuff to themselves to calm down "We are not selling illegal contraband, We are not selling illegal contraband." It's funny and really cool. - Reservation People: GET THERE EARLY at the entrance, they tell you no lining up, but you do not want to be at the back of the crowd when they start shutting down Lightsaber Reservations and Cantina Slots.
When my husband and I go to Batuu (in Hollywood Studios) in September 2020, Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run is a high priority. Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot are too.
This is quite spectacular, I remember, in 1977, when the movie, first came out, I saw it, 50 times, the first month, it was released, and It was the most amazing experience, ever,..! By the way, I can do a totally exact imitation of, Yoda, in two languages, both Polish and English!
disney should make a ride about the history of disney from the start, not from when the company started, but when the magic started (when walt disney was born) and the best thing is they can reference everything in the history of the disney company, and every few years they would update it to have all the movies and all the other parts of history in it. it can also have something where each year has a few movies right? so they make each important year have two scenes, one where they show why it's important and the other having all the movies in that year and the years before that weren't mentioned.
My parents just went to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and when they saw the Hondo Animatronic on Smuggler's Run queue, they actually thought it was a real person in a mask. I had to tell them it was a mechanical robot and their mind was blown away
This land really couldn't have been done w/o the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The light saber ceremony was obviously (very) heavily inspired by Olivanders. Edit: As well as the Milk beverages with Buterbeer.
The theming in this new land is truly THE attraction. But so far, IMO, Universal has better rides in Hogsmead and Diagon Alley. And since they just opened Hagrid's 7 launch coaster, I think they will keep the better rides mantle for quite a long time.
Most of the video seems to be about places where you have to buy stuff and just a little bit of time devoted to rides. Sounds like this place is a rip-off.
I'm going to Disneyland California in early August! I'm sooooooooooo excited for Galaxy's edge especially being a theme park enthuiast. Thanks tpm vids😀
Me 19yo going to the cantina to buy a drink:
- Can I see your ID first?
- You don’t need to see my ID

-Do you serve droids here?
-It just so happens we have this droid type's charging station.
-Ah, thank you.
-But as you know, they usually can't eat or drink the same way we do.

Laugh in asian
Is he a toydarian.
That Hondo animatronic looks like a real person. I probably would have thought that if the audio was clearer.
Anonymous Bacon I think that the audio is meant to be like that so it seems like he has to shout so guests can hear him
It's probably how these guys mixed/recorded the audio for the video....he sounds way better in person
Disney puts all this effort into making them look life-like, but they can't quite get the mouth to ever do more than a puppet-like up and down.
F
Dude the fact that Smuggler's Run has different night/day aspects alone for the ride experience is a win in my opinion!!
Night time seems to be the best time. Everything probably looks better in low light.
Even the food looks like it’s from another planet
It totally does, just wish it tasted as good as it looks!
TOP 10 RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS
*Galaxy’s Edge only has 2 rides, and only one of them is functioning*
1.4 billion?????? Where are all the rides, right? Were the Imagineers kept in cages?
Lol! right.
(just sayin’)
It looks so dull concreate ruted railings nothing to do but some crappy food and costume shops what a waste so sad it could have been amazing. Don't want to go now.
And tbh star tour is way better than the falcon
Return on invest is better with shops and selling based activities than rides...
Is it me or was the milk in the video blue and yellow????
it looks yellow to me also
What i am looking forward to the most is a LOTTERY WIN, only way i would ever be able to afford to go there.
Good luck!

Does anyone else wish they designed the whole area around the original trilogy instead of the current films

yupii1997 i know that but i said i wish as the original trilogy was my favourite

Food: There's only a few things I liked; the RONTO WRAP is awesome, Meloriuoon Juice is like Raspberry Lemonade but great, Outpost Mix is a unique treat I enjoyed but only FRESH, Batuu-bon is essentially just chocolate cake and mousse but good, coke products are good and are so cool to keep and drink out of, I tried both milks, green is the best, blue is kinda weird, and I honestly probably would only get the milks for the experience of drinking them.
Tips:
- Calm down while flying the falcon and have a positive attitude, people will be screaming at you especially if you're a pilot.
Restaurants, shops, and a ride not ready.....suckers born every minute!
That's what disney is banking on, all the suckers
If your just going to hate on it why are you here?
I always look forward to your videos!
I wish you could make B1 battle droids there!
That would be... interesting.
When my husband and I go to Batuu (in Hollywood Studios) in September 2020, Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run is a high priority. Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot are too.
All the grown men without children when they were making lightsabers chose red...
and? I'd choose red because its my favorite color. Though I wish they would have more color options.
@@Necrowolf81 i believe you can buy black if im correct, not sure it works tho
Don't be suspicious, Don't be suspicious. A-Don't be suspicious, Don't be suspicious. DON'T BE SUSPICIOUS DON'T BE SUSPICIOUS
This is quite spectacular, I remember, in 1977, when the movie, first came out, I saw it, 50 times, the first month, it was released, and It was the most amazing experience, ever,..! By the way, I can do a totally exact imitation of, Yoda, in two languages, both Polish and English!
I look forward to it being redone to include actual Star Wars characters and experiences.
You got that right!
Are they adding a yellow kyber crystal to the lightsaber shop
Can you Please do the top 10 fastest rides and coasters at Cedar Point.
So excited to try smugglers run!
Ummmm...is there anything to do here other than get food and buy stuff? Is this a theme park or a f**king mall?
Not everything has to be a ride genius.
I’m excited for EVERYTHING!!!!
I might be going to wdw and i cant wait for galaxy's edge!
Mike Altenhof I’m Going To 2 Weeks And I’m Disappointed It Doesn’t Open Until August
Just like the WD Star Wars movies prepare for disappointment.
David Zewalk oh piss off. Really, look at me trying to be edgy.
Your channel is the best keep up the good work
My favorite ride at Galaxy's Edge is the Waiting in Invisible Lines ride
disney should make a ride about the history of disney from the start, not from when the company started, but when the magic started (when walt disney was born) and the best thing is they can reference everything in the history of the disney company, and every few years they would update it to have all the movies and all the other parts of history in it. it can also have something where each year has a few movies right? so they make each important year have two scenes, one where they show why it's important and the other having all the movies in that year and the years before that weren't mentioned.
I subscribed and hit the bell, love your videos!! Keep up the amazing work!!
My parents just went to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and when they saw the Hondo Animatronic on Smuggler's Run queue, they actually thought it was a real person in a mask. I had to tell them it was a mechanical robot and their mind was blown away
What if TPM vids made its own Droid like R4-TPM
Best video I’ve seen in a while
What happens if you Have no more topics to talk about what would you do?
Eika Ivana , there will always be something to talk about in Disney and other theme parks!
I Love your Videos and I’m most exited for um..... EVERYTHING I can’t wait 😄
This land really couldn't have been done w/o the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The light saber ceremony was obviously (very) heavily inspired by Olivanders.
Edit: As well as the Milk beverages with Buterbeer.
And Potterville is amazing. This looks like fun, but it will be hard to beat Potter. Universal put on a great show, too. 😎
And wizarding world has much better theming.
The theming in this new land is truly THE attraction. But so far, IMO, Universal has better rides in Hogsmead and Diagon Alley. And since they just opened Hagrid's 7 launch coaster, I think they will keep the better rides mantle for quite a long time.
Is the millennium falcon ride a thrill ride?
Literally the best info and tips for Galaxy's Edge, thanks TPMvids...can't wait to go in August!
I went and tried both the milks. I agree with you and I love the green milk! It is super refreshing and I loved the taste
Blue milk was awesome
I kno it was amazing

@@Lila-ie3fz I know right?
I’m so excited for Star Wars to open in Disney world!😝
I love all your videos
I'll go next year when the first big crowds have calmed down
crowds will never calm down lol.
Why wait. There's no crowds now.
@@MrAlcazar Because I'm saving to go to Paris, Disneyland Paris included
@@Wiiguy1606 Oh, ok.
Oh TPM vids, you have the best videos ever! You helped me greatly when i went to disneyworld😁! Keep it coming! My family loves you!
What part am I excited to see:
All of it
The building a lightsaber is one of the huge things I look forward to. ( I've even chose a name for my first lightsaber, Salien.)
Most of the video seems to be about places where you have to buy stuff and just a little bit of time devoted to rides. Sounds like this place is a rip-off.
I’m going in three days, I am so excited for Galaxy’s Edge! Thanks for the video, as always.
Basically a theme park with only 1 ride, filled with merchandise and food shops. No thanks Disney.
There will be a second one. After that, it'll probably be 10 to 20 years before a 3rd one shows up.
My dad and I are going and I’m so excited!
I'm going to Disneyland California in early August! I'm sooooooooooo excited for Galaxy's edge especially being a theme park enthuiast. Thanks tpm vids😀
Is this in Florida as well?
Not yet, it is in construction.
gokaury okay thank you!
Far too much sequel trilogy stuff. There's no nostalgia to drive me there. I'll pass.
Ahhh...nostalgia, always blinding people...
Going to it this Tuesday, can't wait!
