One thing we should keep in mind is these crews were living this life for many days in terms of the convoy. And understood their roles not only professionally but as a 12-17 day, 24 work hour a day lifestyle.
Sorry I am late, had an adrenaline crash when I got home from work and needed a nap. Changing light bulbs on a 90ft light tower with 25mph winds got me pumping today.
@@45CaliberCure it doesn't help that I survived a 40 foot fall 10 years ago. I got back on the horse after 6 months of recovery. It still messes with me from time to time. The best way to deal with a traumatic experience is to deal with it and face that fear.
When all three warships hunting dog I was sooooo worried that another u-boat would pop up on the far side of the convoy. Radar has new surface contact I designate contact goat.
I think what we're seeing after the latest update is what it would look like if the Captain has ordered everyone to get blind stinkin drunk... blurry vision, sonar operators have gone deaf, gunners just shooting wildly into the abyss hoping to hit stuff... Defo a different challenge for sure! 🤣🤣
The bug may be related to their efforts to reduce VRAM consumption of the game. I posted about this on the Steam forums, but the game uses almost 7GB of the 8GB I have available.
Hell, man. Just thought about how cool it would have been to have your insight back in the early days of Silent Hunter. I don't know how many years it's been, but measured in impractical terms, like 2 divorces and their concomitant repercussions, it might have helped me to have been better at these games. I still have a notebook where I was plotting my course in Silent Hunter from back in the early '90s. Sucks getting old, but happy to see a good guy like you making headway and being appreciated by so many good people. Back to skulking...
Funny thing that happend to me last time i played was that Mountie killed my contact and i killed the one Mountie was pursuing. Subs got so close together you could see both in the event view window and i was a little confused why my sonar op. reported 'lost contact' on a sub dead ahead about 300 yards out shallow.only when i dropped my charges and i saw both subs again in the event window i finally clicked 😂
I'm loving the long vid, but I gotta wonder: are you sure the fuzzy plotter is the only thing the devs messed up? This mission felt like a totally different game from prev. ones. Sonar was flaky, subs seemed to be acting different, it just all felt all out of whack compared to earlier gameplays. Having mixed feelings tbh.
You always miss because you AWLAYS drop the bombs BEHIND the enamy. You drop them AHEAD of the enamy so they drive into them. Droping them behind the enamy just means it will drive away from them. And 9 episodes in there's no escuse to constantly drop the bombs far behind the enamy and complain you constantly miss.
Pretty long, but fun to watch. Wolf: "That's what I"m talkin' about!!" Sub Capt: "Ppplllll!!!'

Convoy crossings would typically take 2 or 3 weeks, but a standard deployment for a Destroyer is 6 months or longer…
with limited ammo
Mountie may not have sunk any U-boats this episode but she still did good pinning dog down for over an hour
Absolutly true
You can write off the blurry magnifying glass as just some poor maintenance by some seaman during the escort
The whole instrument is blurry.
Maybe he forgot to put on his reading glasses.
just got back from the Cinema, and now a feature length Wolfpack Video AWESOME
I'm glad you're having a good day, buddy.
Thanks for watching!
wow, a new, over 1-hour Wolfpack's video 😁
glad to see it!

That sounds terrifying. Used to be a height lover, but old age makes you want to hug the ground. 😬

Who cares 😂
Those must be really bright to be effective from 90 feet up. What is it lighting?
Attention is a hell of a drug
Extra long episode! Thanks for all your great content
Gosh! This was a two bags of popcorn battle. Well done!!!

A one hour plus video? AWWWWW YEAHHHHHH
I enjoyed this, kinda nice to watch an hour long video from time to time. Better than waiting and binge watching 5 or so clips lol
This was awesome!
Would be funny if that single freigther turned out to be an enemy warship.
Love this series.

Epic battle with some hard decisions to be made, very well done , I never got the whole lot before the timer ran out.
I love this simulator.

Nice work
G'day Wolfpack! Haven't seen a video from you in a quick minute. Was a pleasant surprise to see one of your videos pop up for me
that's no bug sir, some prankster smeared grease on your plotter!
Great video as always
This is great Wolfpack

Epic episode!
Wondering if one of these unidentified merchants is going to be a convoy raider

I enjoy the longer episodes.
Wow, long but super exciting. I loved it great job
Crazy to think they didn't even test the plotting table before shipping the patch. So what do they test?
Each mission pretty much wipes out the entire German Uboat Navy.
I just saw the density knob in the gun director aiming thingy, do that work?
Amazing video as always!!
Like your videos, your Aussie fan.
Ah ok so im not sleeping tonight
commerce warfare is a tweam sport :)
FYI, I'm WAY more accuratie if I manual aim the guns. It might work for you too.
And the porn bots are back.
Call in the Helldivers.
Can we force uboat to regain surface after we damage him with depth charge ?
yeeees another video :D
So cool
Watched and Liked 👍

Even if they changed sonar and submarine behavior, the plotting tool should still be clear
Can you run out of charges?
No
@@Valstarka Thx. Would be interesting if you had to conserve ammo!
I dont get how the trr is supposed to be angled in this at all tbh
Get Rekt Able!!
long but epic
Epic
