Elvis was a great singer. But Engelbert is NOT copying Elvis, and never did. Just because he sings a song Elvis sang, he's not copying; paying tribute would be more accurate. Sadly, Elvis was taken from us too soon, but THANK GOD we still have Engelbert, who is still performing for us, still looking and sounding wonderful, and I pray he will be with us for many more years. I know how good he looks and sounds, because I saw him about 5 months ago & plan to see him at least twice this year.

Engelbert really was beautiful in 1982 and for so many years after and was always the best singer in the world !! He just got better and better through the years like a fine wine ! He is still a very handsome man at the young age of 84 and still sings like a pro !! Listen to him most every day !!
Widower Enge, is now nearly 86, the great looks long gone, but the stunning voice, charm, love of his fans still remain. The practising Catholic, has recently started reading the Bible, something he has never done, from cover to cover, a few pages each day. The 9th of 10 siblings, his 99 and 97 year old sisters are still alive. He also reminisces often now about the unhappy, relentless bullying by peers and beatings at school by a sadistic teacher because he had protruding teeth, flat nose….the ugly duckling had the last laugh and became the stunning, acclaimed, world famous multimillionaire swan.
