They sound GREAT when you're young... But I gotta tell ya that those lumpy cams and loud exhaust get pretty old, the older a guy gets... I've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel, so quiet comfort is what puts lead in my pencil these days 😂
@mr.mason1810 I just looked at about 10 of em at local car show. The truck dudes love the swap. I'm guessing you meant that no 5.3(or any LS) came from factory with carb.

Absolutely correct. But some of us old guys are cool with a cammed up old school smallblock.
