@@conservativedemocracyenjoyer yeah I know and any appliance repair person will tell you that you should never ever buy an appliance made by a cell phone manufacturer that makes good cell phones, because they're over engineered and not easy to repair individual internal components of. And instead for maintenance and reliability, one should stick to more robust machines by companies that have been making appliances first and foremost for 70 plus years.
I saw this in a "real life glitches" video. It was the funniest part to me because there's absolutely nothing glitchy about this, it's just what happens when you chuck a cinder block into a running washing machine

They added the DIV STOP button for the exact reason: it acts similar to a modern calculator’s reset button, or the break key on old computers. Conclusion: they thought of that, and it results in a cool-looking quirk and a lot of noise. The only risk is that of the very simple electronics (specifically the drive motor) overheating and starting a fire inside the calculator, and you’d have to leave it running overnight to do that…

The rotation is really strong creating a lot of kinetic energy and the brick is all the way around so it accumulates energy and when it gives the energy back to the machine (because the brick flies all over the inside of the drum in because of its kubic shape so it bumps constantly) it creates shocks that make the whole thing vibrate (a lot)
