There are very few people that can naturally play this way. Judging by the various "retake" videos he has on his channel, he's not a natural, just someone who took the time to learn, and maybe had a good teacher. I don't claim to play at his level, but here's some tips anyway. You learn the various techniques used in a song, learn and practice the hell out of the song and ideally record your playing and judge it fairly against the artist's recording.
Practice practice practice practice with metronome. Its all about your passion to learn those fast things. Actually this is ”easy” song. Simply scale etc. You just need to learn how to shred fast. You dont need teacher to help. Still i recommend to take lessons but the teacher have to be metal guitarist not jazz shit etc.
@@aleksi3679 it's also worth mentioning that almost every Japanese metal guitarist I see on UA-cam seem to have a similar playing style - very relaxed, almost effortless right hand technique. Not to mention super clean playing. I agree practise makes perfect, but I wonder if there's a system of learning in Japan where they get this right hand technique from...
@@Jordo619 Grazy ppl with grazy passion. You can see that every japan concert the crowd is just insane. I think they just are massive metal fans. More you like the music, the more you want to learn it. Like me. I am huge bodom fan and i think nothing can beat hatebreeder album solos so i just HAD to learn to play them. I wanted so much to learn and i actually learned which is blowing my mind even today.
@J214 A good start is to mute all the strings you're not playing. It takes some time to get used to it, but you'll get the hang of it. You can do this by either using your fretting hand (when playing riffs or so), or your picking hand when you're doing ascending/descending licks.

I guess I would have to have the guitar in my hands literally 24 7 for several upon several years, and even then may not be that damn good.. hands would lock up and wear out before I got there... that was impressive to say the least.

Practice :) It takes a lot of practice. I'm currently practicing my technique's a lot to be able to play like this.
