This advanced compositing series takes you through the workflow of compositing a live video background with CGI render passes from Autodesk Maya. We will go through most of the topics relevant to this type of compositing including colour space management, dealing with different render passes, additional render pass information and enhancing the final look in the Action 3D compositor.
This movie deals with the challenge of compositing CGI and live video when the colour spaces are different. Learn how to tone-map colour space for accurate compositing in scene linear colour space and remap the viewers to display the colours correctly.
