Bester challenges jail restrictions placed on him

Convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester has filed an application in
the Free State High Court through his new lawyer Lerato Moela. He's
challenging what he claims are unfair restrictions at Kgosi Mampuru
Correctional Centre.
Bester is currently incarcerated in the Pretoria prison's C-Max
section following his notorious escape from Mangaung maximum security
prison two years ago.
The criminal mastermind, along with his girlfriend Nandipha
Magudumana, and seven other co-accused involved in his dramatic
escape, returned to the high court today for a pre-trial hearing after
a month-long postponement.

My understanding of this BS .he got all the documents. Why must this guy consult just get on the the damn case. The law is to relaxed something must be done soon these convicted criminal is just getting too much attention

I don’t think Besters lawyer is going to last very long. He wants Mpofo. He has nothing to lose in terms of time in prison so he’s going to keep delaying. In terms of fairness to the others he should be tried via zoom. His x lawyer should speak up about the truth of access to his client. Not asking for privileged information, just prison - lawyer time. Why can’t the lawyer record the conversation, rather than spend time taking notes? On a recorder not his phone.
