The Chantecaille bronzer is a different class product. Its a sublimely beautiful formulation. Pure Class.

I bet it would be higher coverage if you used fingers to apply it since it looks like the brush might absorb a lot. It looks so nice with the brush application though! I also don't really like to apply things with my fingers

I bit the bullet and bought this foundation and the Tom Ford Traceless Stick foundation during Black Friday. I'm impatiently waiting for the Chantecille foundation to come in but I tried the Tom Ford stick foundation today and I LOVE it so far! Such a beautiful lightweight foundation. I always appreciate your recommendations Blair and I hope you're feeling better! ❤
I was so upset my color sold out as I was checking out and Nordstrom only has dark shades no medium or light medium shades . Glad ur loving it .
@@heathersargent289, I've never added a product to my cart so quickly! Getting the Tom Ford foundation stick for $45 from Sephora was such a steal! Hopefully your shade comes back in stock and you're able to try it!
I love this brand, it’s definitely one of my number 1 brands in luxury. I have that foundation in a few colors and I can get a medium to full, However I use my hands with it. With a brush I haven’t gotten that level of coverage. Definitely don’t use a sponge.
Their spf and tinted moisturizer are also my favorite. Beautiful formulas. Beautiful products.
I’ve been curious about the tinted moisturizer. I’ll have to try this one with my hands 😊
@@simplyblair try it 🙂 I think you’ll like the finish when using your fingers. As for the tinted moisturizer it does have more coverage then the future skin foundation and it has a more soft focus dry down. At least on me it did. I have normal to dry skin type
Also I personally love the simplicity of their classic packaging. I think it is chic. Also it is refillable. But I totally get it is a personal preference.

Hey Blair!! I have not tried this line except for a lip gloss years ago. Bronzer and Blush seem really exceptional, They really look Beautiful! Foundation? Pretty, I like my Foundation to do the job and not need concealer for coverage but thats just me!! ❤❤ Great video!!

I’ve tried the blush, mascara and rose water spray,
I got them all on a steep discount and enjoyed them, but I agree with the blush packaging, and after you use the blush once that shimmer goes away
I’m intrigued by this brand. Wanted that blush but worry it looks more lux than feels.
IMO, Chantecaille is at its best with complexion products. I love their foundations, under-eye Stylo pen, gel cheek blush in Happy, and the HD Perfecting Powder. Those are staples in my collection. I find the gel foundation covers more when I apply it with my fingers rather than a brush, but I wholeheartedly agree with your sanitation concerns. Last year was Chantecalle's 25th anniversary, and I was expecting more from them.

Love the Sylvie eyeshadow! I use it in my crease, everyday. Going to order the Cheetah and Elephant eyeshadows. The cheetah looks so pretty on you!

I bought a few things in the summer sale and the bronzer in this sale but it came not attached to the compact and they never emailed me back so i guess ill have to glue it kinda sucks for that price not to have a perfect product but i do really love it , i got the darker one . I got the Foundation in the last sale and the rose tint , i love that rose tint i have used over half already. I was thinking about getting the lip chic in patience but it was sold out so i have to get it at Nordstrom i guess if i want it onsale and i wanted the New holiday glow blur powder but of course it was sold out . I know people use this foundation for concealer and its their HG product for the undereye . I probably should have got my winter shade in this sale .
Makeup has come a long way since Chantecaille introduced some of their products. Some of the products I will continue to buy include the gel foundation (great for summer), powder foundation (finely milled!) and eyeshadow (Sylvie). I have the cheek gel blushes and a foundation stick which I love when I can’t be bothered with doing much but want to feel put together. I use a little spatula for the gel foundation.

I had the same reaction to the foundation. It’s like a tinted gel moisturizer. Very light coverage
I just apply two layers and then it covers more, it is build able
ok I have this foundation and I have no idea what they put in it but it melts into your skin, the tones are really good and it's glowy but not too much. it is better than Dior, Chanel and nay other product I've ever used. I am obsessed with it. it looks sooo natural yet it covers reasonably well.

I’ve been wanting to try future skin for so long now but the shades are just not very good. I think alabaster will be the closest to me, but possibly a bit light. Sylvie looks beautiful and that’s on my wish list now!
Future skin is a wonderful product; unfortunatly I think that the shade range leans a lot to peach (at least in the light medium spectrum)
Hey sis, I’ve heard a lot about this brand. Would love to try them but too pricy pricey
So, I got their tinted moisturizer and their version of a bronzer a while back (it’s not a bronzer but that’s what I use it for 🤷♀️ to warm my skin up) I’ve wanted to try their foundation for quite a while… I’m just not down to pay $89 for something I don’t know if I’ll like or not… maybe after I use up my 15 different foundations that I have at the moment😳😩❤️
Anyway, I really like the tinted moisturizer… it has more coverage than the Hourglass one and looks great on my skin.

I have got foundation, powder blush, gel blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, eye brow tint, radiance powder, eye pencils, tinted moisturizer, lip veil, lip chic from chantecaille. I live in a very cold place. Yesterday feels like was -20 celcius and have seen -60 in the past. I started to get eczema from the weather. My skin was super dry, but it looked and felt healthy after the foundation. I think for a regular person unless they have the money, it is not worth it. My skin needs more hydration with extreme temperatures, so it is worth the money. The same for lip chic. My lips were so hydrated yesterday.
I use the foundation and have for years. It is light coverage. I don't know how it could be considered medium. Haha
Honestly you could get the same exact result of the foundation by mixing any foundation with a water cream\gel cream moisturizer. Its easy to be undetectable when you're basically just a moisturizer with almost no pigment. Lol. Thanks for sharing! Other people almost had me buying this expensive stuff but I feel like your review is a lot more honest and true to how it really performs.

I used this foundation this summer. I hate that I loved it. Because it’s expensive.
The foundation is a light coverage. Chantecaille’s tinted moisturizer provides more coverage than the foundation.

That’s a very pricey product and on my tv it’s sheer
have been using the foundation for a while. I have very sensitive skin. I just wash my hands before and use my fingers. I tried brush, but I haven't noticed much difference. I am thinking about doing half brush face half fingers to compare it better.

I’m still on the fence with deciding this brand is worth it. I haven’t tried the foundation, but have several eyeshadows and lip products. They are very nice - but worth the money? I have the eyeshadow single “Starfish” and it’s a patchy mess, so for me, and the lid of the packaging looks awful, after a few months the “C” embossed on it started peeling and flaking off, so that eyeshadow is not worth it. The other shadows I admit I like.
You can apply this luxury makeup and have all these high opinions…but how much of that opinion is influenced by the fact that you KNOW it’s a luxury brand? How much is - well, if Hillary Duff uses it, it must be great? What we need are reviews where people have no idea what is the brand or price of the product they are trying, so we get an unbiased opinion that won’t be influenced by other things.

I know this is an unpopular opinion but Chanticalle is one of the most over hyped and over priced brands I’ve ever tried, also their packaging is extremely cheap feeling for the prices they charge. I’ve tried a few of their super hyped products (eg the blurring powder) and was disappointed 🫠
I don’t think your opinion is controversial . I totally agree with you. Also for some reason I associate this brand with old ladies, I don’t know why. But I don’t know a single person who uses this brand.
I think the eyeshadows are where it's at. They're really finely milled, I got rhino for the holidays and this old lady can wear it without looking too glittery. If I remember correctly their 'breakthrough' products were their brow pencils and gels about 10 years ago.
I got the foundation from this video and it's a high quality product. Not sure what you mean by cheap packaging, it;s not Rhode
