H Mart is one of my favorite stores! I'm Caucasian, and my ex-husband is Filipino. His mother taught me to cook. Our son benefitted from being able to experience the foods from both sides of his family. It was good for our family. My son's favorite snack has always been desicated squid chips. My son is now 28, and on holiday in the Philippines.

I think it would be fun if the family did more food challenges. Like maybe do a mukbang or meokbang. Like the family likes Disney and you could do a Meokbang on the families favorite foods from Disney. OR Like the family only eats food from one of Panda's video games for the day (or week). Or ya'll only eat your favoirte color for the day. I'm an idea person though, so ignore me if they are bad lol I have constant ideas until i need one lol

We're lucky that we have 2 major cities with Asian supermarkets to choose from. Dublin has Korean shops (one with THE most amazing restaurant at the back of it), Pinoy shops, a huge Chinese supermarket, and other ethnic shops, all within walking distance in the city centre. Belfast has a massive warehouse supermarket that has a cute little café above. They also do special orders and bulk for anyone, no business permits/license required. That's where I get my cartons of jasmine green tea from.
My son lives near the Asian supermarkets in the city where he lives in England, so he's always getting stuff we can't get here. He got me self-heating hotpots a couple of months ago. It was 👌 He lives for the spicy cheese buldak lol

i love the ramen you chose, they are some of my favs. But if your kids think it is too spicy, add an egg (any cooked type, but it's better if the yolk is liquid or soft. I usually use a soft boiled, sunny side up or put the white in while cooking the noodles and add the yolk when serving), cheese, sour cream, or cook with extra veg and/or dumplings to sop up the flavor. Another option is but some plain ramen noodles and add a little extra water and noodles to neutralize some of the spice.
Hope your kids like it. That's the best korean ramen in my opinion.

Did you start by just filming a you tube channel?
I can relate to the feeling of trying to find groups you can fit in that are like your family.
I’m a single parent raising 2 mixed race but in poverty level, no other parent, I’m working 2 days a week and watch my kids Al the times I don’t work, paid off my car, pay my own mortgage and other bills.
I see that you got to meet more families like yours when you went viral.
I wonder if I should do that as well ❤

My favorites are, vermicelli, soy eggs and pork, cháo Gà (chicken rice porridge) it's good plain or with chicken, Pho is always good I like mine with beef balls but it's my favorite versatile soup you can get it with all sorts of things, spring roll and salad are good penut sauce goes really well with salad rolls and for the springs rolls with fish sauce ask for non spicy if the kids don't like spice it is very spicy with hot red peppers and seeds. And yes, I'm mainly talking vietnamese food. It's the only asian food I know other than standard chinese food restaurants

Snacks this one was a favorite drink when i was a kid yakult little bottles with red foil caps, you can freeze them, or you can just drink them. Jelly straws, hi chew, pocky, the panda cracks with the cream on the inside vanilla is my favorite, white rabbit, bin bin rice crackers, shrimp chips, haw flakes are more of an adult one cause its a very word flavour for kids and they don't really like them, wang wang snow cookies i could literally eat them for hours its a kind of savory sweet snack, i didn't mind dried squid but its still kinda popular, the tubs that have the smaller jelly cups on the inside, melona is extremely popular, mochi, hot kid honey balls cookies great, and at last koh-kae coated penuts i really like the coconut ones but you guys might like the bbq
