On a trip back to Denver to settle some things after retiring to Northern Arizona, a late afternoon drive through Holbrook, Arizona under darkening skies. Slow the video down just a little to see more.

there was chain of them back in the 50 and 60s. the downside to a lot of these small town out here you don't have the big box stores like the city's do, but they have their charm of their own. thanks for the tour and have a great day
A chain! I had no idea, but I certainly did notice a big difference between Holbrook and Winslow!
Could it be that Winslow has benefitted greatly (economically) from it's proximity to Flagstaff (which appears VERY prosperous)?
The Holbrook area is one of the places i am looking for off grid land!
Oh wow, Jeff! It is a great area. Privacy, a calm and friendly environment. The weather is very good, generally.
And large monuments/buttes are all around the area... some beautiful views!

The nights are full of bright lit stars so numerous it’s breathtaking…bought a home here near Anita Drive and bought 3 parcels of 40 acres plus surveyed them of course 7 miles from the house..can’t wait to stop working and start my 501c non-profit up here…CALLED GIIVE Genuinely Interested In Valuing Everyone…4 more years to go..
