      Klipsch vintage speakers are going up in price. Keep them as long as you can.

    io le ho prese di recente ed le ho in abbinamento ad un valvolare PrimaLuna evo 300 I , il genere che ascolto è proprio questo e provo grande soddisfazione !!! PS mitico Curtis Fuller

    Hey Dr. Pureness, I can see in your videos, which I enjoy very much, you have quite a few pairs of speakers. Which are top three and in what order? Thanks… looking forward to hearing your response.

      Dynaudio Confidence series speakers and vintage JBLs are pretty decent.

    Looking for second set of speakers for primarily jazz, Heresy 4's are on my short list against some Martin Logan Montis.

      @ysk249  3 роки тому +1

      Jazz sounds awesome on these martin Logan speakers and it takes the music you're listening to another dimension. Clarity and details are great and you can listen to music for hours without listening fatigue.

      @@ysk249 Do you prefer Heresy or Logan for jazz?

    • @ysk249
      @ysk249  3 роки тому +3

      I prefer Heresy with a tube amp. and I prefer Martin Logan with a solid state amp. Both speakers are great with class A amps but ML has a warmer sound, whereas Heresy can sound bright depending on the placement and amplifiers.

    Wide angle lens? Those look bigger than Cornwalls. Sound great tho.

      I recorded it from a foot from the speakers and they certainly look wider.

      @@ysk249 Thanks. They still look to be wider than my Heresy 1 tho.

    Way too close together. This setup limits imaging and soundstage badly.

    Your very expensive system sounds just as shitty as my crap system does what gives?

      Feed them properly and they can deliver performance that rivals $20k + speakers. I should know…I’ve owned more than a few!

      Decware…Ironically, I am using a Krell K 300i Class A integrated amplifier and it sounds so full of color and life like a great tube amp but without the shortcomings. Synergy is everything I suppose…cabling can also transform a system, despite the naysayers who have usually had a very limited exposure to a broad array of gear/cable combinations.
