I think it would've been a great idea to complete the video when you do the step-by-step the fourth and fifth dips you could've scrubbed it moved forward and included the buffing in the shaping and the final product
I have a full step by step tutorial from prepping your nails the whole way to applying the top coat on my channel as well. You are more than welcome to check that one out.
Thank you, I’m glad it was helpful! ❤️ I always use the apex method. However for glitter and chunky glitter, I do less dips. Typically, I will use clear and do 2 dips to build my apex, do two full dips of glitter, then one dip of clear over top.

Does this make the nails thick? I like mine to be close to natural thickness
I wouldn’t say thick but they are thicker than natural nails.
They are typically perfect for me, not too thick but too thin that I risk breaking one.

What base do you use?
Did you apply directly to your nail or did you have a base coat already on?
I built the apex directly on my natural nail. 🙂
I cut my nails down a bit further than that can the apex method still work for me?
Yes, just don’t do as many dips if you have shorter nails. ☺️
