- From the beginning of the F1 world championship in 1950. The monaco GP has been on the calender almost every year. The layout has changed in some places and with the power of video games, using the fantastic pc F1 Challenge VB mod, I drove some beautiful and great sounding cars from 1950 to 2019 around the track. This is the result.

when u realized the 1994-2002 modded tracks are actually taken from the original and vanilla Monaco track in this game.

When you realise the layout from the 50's till 60's were basically just ports of Grand Prix Legends (with some modifications)

This mod dosen't have the uniqe 1972 layout,
''the pits were moved to the harbor front on the north side of the harbor. Cars entered the pits via the old chicane, which was widened for the purpose. The circuit went straight past the old chicane, with a new chicane roughly 100 m before the Tabac corner.''
This was a complete joy to watch. What better way to start the season than warm up to Laps around Monaco!
Never played this game, never heard of it until now, and it's already one of my new fav f1 games.
Comments on the mod aside, this is such a well put-together video, loved the little touches and descriptions and the Bonus Car at the end (esp considering what happened in 2020). Thanks so much!
Still a good game for ultra-low end laptops and to train modding abilities.
If you don't want to take care until the last calculation of your mod, I prefer you working on this than a last generation game, "in wich the FFB makes you feel every strip of asphalt"
I have a old 2015 laptop and when i put it in a high resolution and everything high, jesus christ its like my laptop runs games smooth, the gameplay is smooth but not when it comes to racing with ais
Actually I was thinking at older PCs and people who criticize why hasn't been used Rfactor or Assetto corsa. This work is epic, compiling a physic for Assetto corsa is longer, if we want to still call it Assetto corsa. So, I think theese guys have choosen the right game.
However, I'd like to know how P34's physic works
I love how the 2004 Ferrari and the 2005 McLaren having V8 Sounds while 2006 super aguri has V10 hahaha

How does this work on joystick? I already have the FFB wheel, Rfactor and GTR2 I confirm they weren't thought for gamepads (so, please, don't stress us about how there is people who can't afford a gaming gear) , but a gamepad game like this would be particularly attractive

It makes perfect sense that as the cars got larger and faster, they made the track even tighter and twistier, oh no wait that's fucking stupid.

They were powered by Ford-Cosworth engines.

It's a mod for all seasons made after the release of the game, which is still being actively updated voluntarily for free.
@@inarisk It was a stupid joke, yea, for a free game it's cool, perhaps the driving is better than the graphics...It seemed it was really hard to drive the 30' F1, always playing with the steering wheel^^ You know what? I'll install it! Happy Hollydays!

You mean the LCD?
@@straatham1738 Yep, what did you do to have it on the upper right, given that the old cars obviously don't have the LCD on the steering wheel.
Ok nevermind, I just tried 1975 and it showed up so I understand on some seasons it automatically shows the LCD as a pit board. I wish it was implemented for every season where the steering wheel can't display it, for example in the 80s there's nothing.
