Enjoyed that walk through 7-All . Miss walking to Wade Park in the early 90s and MLK for middle school. 74th & Superior. I havent walked those streets in over 12 years. Thank you
This starts two houses away from my childhood home, on 71st . I was hit by a car right at the intersection at 3:20, where Triangle cleaners used to be. What memories....al most 60 years ago!
It's surprising how many beautiful trees there are. It has a forest feel, a bit. There's no one on the street, strange, but maybe it's just early morning. I know that a lot of Hungarians used to live on Buckeye Road, I hope you don't mind if I ask what the neighborhood is like now, do Hungarians still live there? Thank you for the video, Greetings from Hungary!
@@krisztinap3584 Thank you. Nothing to be sorry for, it is what it is. I agree, Cleveland is beautiful in some places. The Lake is fantastic, on the west side.
I'm having to move this week and have yet to be accepted application wise. I had several surgeries and a stroke the past year someone I knew for years returned to Cleveland as I went in and out of the hospital who took advantage of how preoccupied I was... And used my resources to sign up for credit cards and other madness that's why I can't get any landlords to take me. The city is just gentrified enough in the neighborhoods I could afford.. they won't even take any application from you if you have credit under 600. I keep getting declined and if they feel bad for me as a now disabled vulnerable aging human some realtors have given me leads to the properties and neighborhoods which are not so picky? It's scary in the daylight and on the busy streets! How to navigate parking 3 side street away at night when I have a cane and will be trying to get groceries inside? I've been talking God every other place I am steered to because He's not let me be destroyed yet but I think my morale is getting low. 😢

I lived on 79 & st.clair. left in '67. You should of seen this neighborhood then. The place was spotless so many stores you didn't even need a car
Really enjoyed the walk down memory lane. I left in 79" Hodge Elementary Lula Deihl😊 Such despair now🥺 it's really all urban cities. Thanks again
Ok I saw Peck CT so off St Clair and E 69 somewhere??

I'll put it this way, you wouldn't want to come back to live there; take it for what it's worth 🙂
@@zythr9999 I understand, I'm very sorry, it's sad. But be proud, the city is in a beautiful place and the lake is fantastic 🤩

Many Slovenians as well. The city is not what it used to be. Still a nice place to live.
