Say Hello to a Stranger Vancouver!

- a Cue Creative Consulting is on a mission to figure out why there are so many blogs and articles and complaints from Vancouver residents about how 'cold' this city is.
If you are single, meeting someone in Vancouver is apparently next to impossible.
Could this be true?
Kaare Long the CEO of a Cue Consulting and Adam Bajan a Junior Consultant hit the city streets and coffee shops to see what the fuss is about.
Check out what they discovered, is it as bad as all the complaints?

Thank you for doing this! I had a similar idea after an experience this past summer of having breakfast with a stranger. One of the most heart warming experiences ever! I dreamed of having a breakfast with a stranger club with participating resturants worldwide as a way to promote peace and understanding between all everywhere. I am so happy other people are thinking this way! Hooray for being friendly!
Good video, good point. This is a primary reservation of mine about moving to Vancouver and how it would be.
We found the camera 'attracted' more curiosity than either of us experience in person alone, or from reports we heard.
The point of the video was to have a 'visual' on the Myriad of reports we have gotten that simply saying 'hello' was ignored in this city and at times met with hostility. The sign was there to open people up MORE, by showing them what we were up to. The fact that this didn't change much was quite interesting. Adam was still just saying 'Hi!'
Poor stranger
I think the camera plays a role contributing to even less approaches.
Not a proper way to measure how "friendly" a city is. There are so many variables that contribute to people not wanting to say "hi." People not saying hi is not necessarily an indication that the they are unfriendly or "cold."
Maybe the sign could have been phrased differently? Maybe less for people to read and more to the point?
this is just a dude with a paper taped to his back and a dude following him with a camera. Who would care to read or even think to say hi to that man..
Nah, Vancouver is awesome, people here are nice and great people!
You obviously never been to vancouver its one of the most toxic shitholes I have been to
Random question have you been to Victoria bc on Vancouver island ? If you have is it the same as Vancouver ?
We are wondering if YOU are brave enough to #sayhitoastranger Nov 8-10th? Will you join us?
