Beautiful. You ay want to lower it so that it's more ergonomic or better to work over. It depends on your work of course. Consider the usefulness of one of those beautiful Moxon vises on a long side. as well. Tanks for the wonderful video.

Actually, in the Roman workbench that you watched earlier, I mentioned in Thai that it was an amazing coincidence that the width on the Roman workbench and the mini workbench turned out to be the same. Thus I could add the mini workbench to the Roman workbench and there was no need to drill additional dog holes in the Roman workbench to get a full function of the workbench.

Sorry Reg...., I didn't make a video when it was built 30 years ago. FYI, it is a garage roofing structure which has a wide span. The truss structure is good to support the wide span roof load. You are very observant. Thank you for your interest.
@@hai99noi I’m building mini workbench’s at work for my push carts and at home I have an area that I want to make an outdoor workshop plus an area for family events. Thank you for your visit and nice question. Originally, I wanted to try doing a castle joint to make something sturdy and later became the mini workbench. The mini workbench has become a valuable addition to my workshop which I use it frequently. The best part is it's mobility which allow me to move it to the favorable location when I need a workbench.

Hi Rick, sorry that I didn’t explain clearly in this video. However, I explained it on my other video, ua-cam.com/video/DcCWOMTNcRQ/v-deo.html. They are used to give the balance when you use the vice to hold the piece that is short of the center line of the vice. The knobs allow you to turn the stubs and extend them to the thickness of the piece that you are holding. They prevent the pinching when you tighten the vice. Please watch my other video and you will see what I have explained. Thank you for your interest and have a good day.

Thanks Rick. I should have used your words “anti racking” instead of the lengthy explanation. In a way, it’s the vertical anti racking. 😊
