  • Tara Brach on Realizing your Deepest Intention [2019-01-16]
The Buddha taught that this whole life-including our thoughts, feelings and actions-arise from the tip of intention. While our intentions are usually marbled with wanting and fear, when intention comes into the light of consciousness, it unfolds into its most pure essence. This talk explores ways that when we are stuck in reactivity, we can become aware of intention, and find our way to the aspiration that expresses our most awake and loving heart.

I feel it with you Tara when you are inhabiting the message rather than just talking it.I appreciate that you take your time and your calm presence which makes the message soak in that much more effectively.I know these truths myself but it can easily get lost in the everyday or something that happens again to trigger me and bring right back to self doubt and unhelpful self judgement rather than genuine self enquiry.

Thank you so much, I wonder if there are longer pieces of music from which the opening and ending music for this talk is extracted? Or, where can I find similar genre of music? I used the likes of ‘Indian flute’ but could not find similar music. Sorry for this trivial question but this music is incredibly calming.
