The plucky characters from a series of animated shorts, Wallace (Peter Sallis) and his dog, Gromit, make their feature debut here. After starting a pest control business, the duo soon lands a job from the alluring Lady Tottington (Helena Bonham Carter) to stop a giant rabbit from destroying the town's crops. Both Wallace and the stuffy Victor (Ralph Fiennes) vie for the lady's affections. If Wallace wants to please his pretty client, and best Victor, he needs to capture that pesky bunny.

Great reaction bro!
Aardman captured our hearts with their _Wallace and Gromit_ shorts, and then, this film truly showed the characters at their highest potential yet. I especially love how expressive Gromit is without sound or a mouth. He's such a good, smart dog, too. And everything else is just so British and hilarious.
Me too.
So am I
“Is Gromit a slave?”
I wouldn’t say “slave”. I’d say more “the only one smart enough to get things done around here” 😂
Absolutely. 💯
He’s basically the caretaker.
fun fact: this movie was the first stop motion movie that it win an oscar for best animated movie.
Fun fact: Victor is played by Ralph Fieness, the guy who played Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter, and the voice of Ramses in Prince of Egypt.
Lord Voldemort AND Bellatrix LeStrange!
That’s right.
I love stop-motion animation like this because, unlike CGI, you can see the artists' meticulous, heartfelt handiwork in literally every frame.
CGI Today Is A Cruel Joke, No Heart, No Hard Work, Just Laziness.
@@hannahburke7328If that's what you really think, tell that to Aardman themselves about "Flushed Away".
@@ZondaFRoadsterFlushed Away Is Good Don't Get Me Wrong, If CGI Is Used Too Much It Looks Lazily Sloppy.
My father in law was one of the animators for this movie. What a classic.
Interesting
That’s awesome
As someone who has shockingly never seen past Wallace & Gromit material, I loved this movie a lot!
I absolutely love Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, it has great comedy, awesome plot and an all cast that brings so much to this movie!! R.I.P Peter Sallis 😞
Loved the reaction Timothee!!
I missed his voice very much.
I love Wallace and Gromit. This was so wild as Wallace turned into the Were-Rabbit. Gromit saved him from his death. He's smart and brave dog
🐰🐰🐰🐶🐶🐶💗💗💗
Gromit doesn't express himself in words, but his body language speaks volumes.
This film took Aardman FIVE YEARS to make, mainly because of the ambitious transformation scene. The shot with Wallace's leg transforming took them a year to finish.
BTW, a lot of the lines that Hutch says in this film were from the previous Wallace & Gromit short films, mainly from Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave.
Gromit is a great dog. And Gromit is always looking for his best friend Wallace. Also helena bonham carter is very incredible in this movie.
If you didn’t know, Wallace love interest is voiced by good ol Helena Bonham Carter, and the antagonist is voiced by Ralph Fiennes
Not only is this my favorite monster movie parody, it’s also a solid monster movie in its own right.
This was a worthy follow up to Aardman’s previous film Chicken Run. I mean, what better way to feature the studio’s signature characters Wallace and Gromit as a full length movie?
Grew up watching their short films in the 90s and there’s no mistaking the late Peter Sallis as Wallace himself. He gave Wallace life and a personality.
My thoughts exactly. Those two films are classics, made me appreciate claymations
@@Mannyindahouseme too.
Aside from Shrek, finding Nemo, Shark Tale, Madagascar, Iron Man, and few other movies, this one I was obsessed with. Almost every time we go to the rental store, would get this movie
Wallace & Gromit was my childhood, I can't express how much I loved these movies as a kid. Just like Chicken Run, this movie was a must to watch every weekend.
Also one of the first films from Aardman Studios I saw was because of my uncle who passed away 10 years ago and everytime I see Wallace & Gromit I think of him, like we were watching it together.
This movie gave me nightmares when I was little kid.
There’s 4 other films in the Wallace and Gromit series, “A close shave”, “the wrong trousers”, “a close shave” and “A matter of loaf and death.”
You mentioned ''A close shave'' twice, you propably meant ''A grand Day out''
7:26 Call it slave labour but you can see why Gromit is usually the one in charge of everything and doing all the work. He can't talk and he doesn't have as creative ideas as Wallace does, but he does have more common sense than Wallace ever had in his whole life
I don’t know, hot-wiring a carnival kiddie ride to fly around like a fighter jet and using it to block a bullet flying at your best friend is a pretty creative idea.
This film was the first stop motion film to win an Oscar for best animated film.
Wallace and Gromit curse of the ware rabbit is one of the great stop motion claymation films. Of course Wallace and Gromit have also smaller stop motion claymation films as well like the wrong trousers, a close shave, a trip to the moon, and A matter of loaf and death. The company that made Wallace and Gromit also made a film called chicken run which is also another great and highly recommended film!!!
I’ve seen all the Wallace and Gromit films as well as their TV series, and it’s safe to say that this movie defined a significant part of my childhood 😊
(Although it’s still funny regarding the few adult jokes that sailed over my head from when I was younger haha 😅)
This is one of the best stop motion movies ever in my opinion. Highly recommend Fantastic Mr. Fox. It’s not Aardman, but it’s definitely a great movie. Also would recommend all of Laika’s movies, Kubo and the Two Strings, The Missing Link, Boxtrolls, etc. Those are pretty amazing as well.
Anything Laika is fantastic.
@@phousefilms Very true. Just about every movie I’ve seen from them slaps.
I love watching this movie during Halloween time
I remember been absolutely horrified during The scene where Wallis transformed into The wererabbit on screen, when I watched The movie for The first Time.
I really love this movie. It has really good animation and a really cool plot but I especially love the voice cast and the action
Wallace and Gromit This was the first stop motion film to win an Oscar for best animated film.
Man, watching this back on this reaction I don't think I ever realised how important this film is to me. I was so young watching this over and over, and I loved it so much, looks like I still do!
"If you ask me,this was arson"
"Arson"
"Right,someone arsin' around"
I remember this one! Always a classic spoopy movie if you're a super scaredy cat like me!
3:40 Stop-motion takes a LOT of time to make, like just a frame or two of animation can take you like a day or two. The reason why it isn't so profitable as a feature-length film medium (sadly) is BECAUSE it's so time-consuming and very high risk-low reward for box office returns. Check out Laika, for example: they've had their days with Coraline and ParaNorman, but recently bigger and more recognizable movies and more competitive seasons have been pushing them to the wayside, like Missing Link being overshadowed primarily by Endgames hype.
6:21 I wouldn't say that, per se. Gromit is the typical "assistant who is so done with the wacky inventors B.S." kinda guy, but he's a loyal dog despite it all. Plus, the moments where he DOES express his casual annoyance towards Wallace are very funny! Like I said, I watched this movie a bunch of times, so I kinda know the ins and outs of this movie. Fun fact, this was the last movie to be released on video cassette tapes (I am OLD, lol) and on DVD, before DVDs killed the VHS market altogether
6:51 It is a melon! However, in the U.K. dub, Wallace calls Gromits prized veggie a "marrow," which is a fruit used as a veggie like a tomato.
9:18 The voice for Victor Quatermaine (best villain name ever, btw) is Ralph Fiennes, the voice of Ramses II from The Prince of Egypt. Looking back on it now, I can see where he got the entitled rich guy personality from, lol.
11:54 This scene mildly disturbed me as a kid (that is, until Wallace (as the Were-Rabbit) burps, and the vicar assumes it's Mrs. Mulch). I think not revealing the monster right away only builds up the horror until you actually see it.
13:58 I consider the part where Lady Tottington aligns perfectly with the angel lamp and Victor moving over slightly to give him devil horns, the best underrated joke of the whole movie. It's obvious, but, c'mon, it's funny!
2:48 The Old Logo. Nostalgia! 😚

This is my FAVORITE Wallace and Gromit movie of all time!!! Thanks for reactin to it!!!
I cannot be the only one who thinks Wallace and Timothee have the same smile
This is a great horrormovie for kids. Great british humor in this movie😅. Peter Sallis had a great voice. Rest in peace good ol chap.
Dude i watched this movie non stop as a kid. My brothers and I would wake up every morning and turn this on
Wallace and Gromit the curse of the were-rabbit won oscar.
23:34, this film has loads of hidden innuendo in it
Hutch has to be one of my favourite things about this movie.
"The bounce has gone from his bungee!"
"Coming! I'm WALLACE!" XD
"Nerves of steel...and....a bullet..."
"A...bullet?"
"A BULLET!"
"A bull-"(lmao, the thunder every time)
This was before HBC appeared in Harry Potter, I think. So she and Voldemort were in a movie together earlier!
Shoutout to Wallace and Gromit, the legends along with Shaun the Sheep.
13:20 He's the vicar, it's his job to get everyone worked up
God this movie is timeless
My brother and I watched this movie so much as a kid and it's not too bad in today's time. Stop motion is the coolest form of film making.
you know, the first time i watched this movie, i thought Victor went insane and desperately cried I NEED POOP on 32:22 because he needed any bullets even his own turd to kill the rabbit and MAN i just almost went out of air with laughter
This is such a childhood classic for me. I am a big Halloween fan, and seeing the dynamic duo sort of in a horror movie is great! Man~ i remember when Burger King had tie in toys for this movie. I know i have a few around my house somewhere.
Wallece and Gormit, Shaun the sheep, chicken run and Coraline are my fav stopped motions movies and films seens my childhood and i loved it till today.
It brings so much memories to thus movies
4:08 Sure Beats Alarm Clocks.
i remember watching this movie when i was little but found it pretty scary especially wallace’s transformation because i always thought wallace was a real wimp but to see that 😂
I am a huge fan for Wallace and Gromit. I have seen short films: A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and A Matter of Loaf and Death
Back when I was little,my class got to watch this movie duringHalloween time in 2005. I was traumatized and the whole class laughed at me for it because I did'nt any better that it was just a Halloween kids movie at the time. But this trauma made me love the movie and I laughed with the others. I had a good time. I have the movie at home, and I don't remember how many times I watched it as a kid. Now I'm watching it again years later thanks to you,and it really brings me back so much memories from my Classroom. My teacher always makes us watch movies in class.
Yes you finally watching my favorite claymation movie love this movie
20:00 cue the flashback to when Remus Lupin transformed into his werewolf form and trying to survive the night in The Prisoner of Azkaban 😮
We cant continue without Peter Sallis in Wallace and Gromit
Aardman's been doing so for like 15 years now.
Yay I couldn’t wait for this movie reaction 😄😄 this such a childhood classic and an epic claymation movie and great comedy also. I enjoyed every part of this movie from the storyline to the characters like Wallace and Gromit themselves (honestly I think Gromit is the MVP in this movie really) to surprise of knowing Wallace was the were rabbit the whole time and to Wallace have love interest in Dotty❤️❤️ also the music is amazing as well😊 this movie will always be special to me and I hope you too enjoyed it Tim 😁😁😉😉
14:39 Oh And Away Goes The Lady Rabbit.
Hugh Hefner Wants That Giant Puppet Rabbit.
It’s funny how Gromit sometimes has this 1000 yard stair
1:38
I haven't seen an sponsor by them in a while. I'm kinda glad they are still going
I remember back when this came out they advertised it as the worlds first vegetarian horror movie XD
I have vivid memories of watching as a kid just about every movie you mentioned in the intro lmao
6:20 not a slave, gromit is like a butler.
6:47 it's a marrow (zucchini).
YES! My favorite Aardman movie along with Chicken Run, I watch this movie all the time. So much fun. Great reaction.
Me too. Especially flushed away.
I hope you caught the "may contain nuts" joke on the box at 33:54. XD
This movie along with Chicken Run was a classic for me
Fun fact about me. Not only was this the first Wallace and Gromit thing I saw, but for many years I thought it was the only one. I didn't know about the specials. I just thought it was just another DreamWorks movie.
I saw all The specials before I Even knew there was a movie
0:54 omg i remember that show!
I Love Watching This Movie FT Wallace and Gromit!😂
19:38 somehow as a British person, I still think that
3:37 yes defo ❤
Omg the nostalgia! I loved this sm
SLOW DOWN!!!!! YOU’LL BUCKLE ME CRUNYONS!!!!!! Lolol
The vegetable that Gromit grows, the marrow is a type of pumpkin or squash. Though, for the american released, it was re-dubbed into a "melon" though it's technically incorrect.
34:43 Hurray for fluffy!!!!
OMG ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVS
Second DreamWorks movie which won the Oscar. Someday there would be a third winner.
Awww! Love these clay guys 😊
🥰I watched Wallace and Gromit when I was a little girl🥰
If it's her flowers he'd know she likes them
when i was a kid this was scary but also awesome :)
There are two Shaun the sheep movies and don't forget Wallace and grommet a matter of loaf and death
0:41 Speaking Of Chicken Run, Netflix Will Release A Chicken Run Movie This December! 😆
It's Been 23 Years Exactly Since The Movie Came Out While Shrek And HTTYD Were Filling In The Gaps.
Wallace and Gromit will soon have a new movie for Netflix in 2024, although there could be a delay. Wallace and Gromit will soon have a new movie for Netflix in 2024, although it could be Spend a delay maybe
Hi Tim I loved your reaction to Wallace and Gromit the curse of the Were rabbit 🐇🐕🥕🧀 This is my favorite movie so happy I got to see your reaction also congratulations with your engagement with Clariss Like I've watched each Of your reactions For almost 2 or 3 years and I know it's you 2 were together and some videos but I didn't realize you do were actually together but I'm so happy for you both❤❤
I like the new dreamwork opening
How curious that you mentioned Chicken Run, because last month was confirmed that it was getting a sequel soon.
Vegetable have their ups and downs one it keeps you healthy the bad part is that vegetables give you a lot of stuff to process and a lot comes out the other end if you eat to many vegetables
Omg, I haven't seen this since I was a kid.
Fun fact: Hutch is voicing quotes from the W&G shorts, have you seen the shorts yet?
one movie you have to watch is muppet treasure island. it has an amazing score and it's hilarious
18:26 Hottie For Totty! 😂
I love Wallace and Gromit! Please do yourself a favor and find a way to watch the 4 30 minute specials; the first three were made before this and the last one was made a few years later.
Other stop motion films you should check out are Coraline Paranorman Kubo and the two strings
And The Boxtrolls
I think this movie is good for what it is. I remember watching some Wallace and Gromit shorts, and thought it was pretty interesting. I also think that instead of a werewolf, this movie using a were-rabbit is a pretty interesting and funny concept for this movie.
13:21 - 13:29 Music of thriller 😱😱😱😱😱😂😂😂😂
29:32: Hey, can I ask you a question, Tim? What do you get when you cross The Wolf Man (1941 - 2010), David Naughton from An American Werewolf in London (1981), those wolf-monsters from The Howling (also ‘81), Andre/Brundle from The Fly (1958 - 1986), King Kong (1933 - 2021), Frankenstein (1931 - 2021), Dr. Henry Jekyll and Mr. Edward Hyde (1941 - 2008)?
